I think my brother’s burn/blister took a couple weeks-one month to get away.
Mitch- Ew…Was it like, white? Just the thought of it… ![]()
I burnt my hand using the wood burners in des tech once. I was making a clock with a picture of a cheetah on it, and took for granted how hot the wood burner was. I was even slightly taking the mickey by getting a hair and putting it on the wood burning tip to see it melt away. Five minutes later, whilst going to put the thing down, I accidentally swept the hot end across the palm of my hand. Not nice. ![]()
lizardgirl - Cha, it was all white and everything! The pain was so bad that I couldn’t move my leg. I still have the scar, actually, and I’ll probably carry it for the rest of my life. ![]()
Yowch! I burned myself on a pizza pan once. Dang finger hurt for two days straight! ![]()
– Mitch
Yeah. It sucked. ![]()
I rembered that two yeas ago, I broke my finger playing footbal. Had to wear a splint for 6 weeks!
The Star Swordsman - Yowch!
I’ve never broken any part of my body in my life, but I am rather curious as to how I would stand the pain… ![]()

I also had no injures or broken bones ever, not even a bee sting ever.
I only went to the hopital when my mom gave birth to me.
Oh yeah. People get it all the time. It’s bad when you break something. =/
I love playing with glue guns. XD They hurt a lot though…
Mitch: Well, a broken bone really does hurt depending on the fratcure and the size of the bone. My finger was just chiped and broken off, so it stung, but it wasn’t like really agonizing.
-grins- Well it’s official. I’ve finally been in the hospital because of a horse!
Thursday night [sooo last night XD] my mum and I were working Clue, and I decided to get on. He was such a good boy the other day. Well, as soon as I got into the saddle, he bolted. He ripped right out of my mum’s hands and headed for the corner of the arena. He went left and I went right. I landed on my right hip and my right arm. Clue booked it out of the arena. I managed to roll myself over onto my back. It hurt so much. Usually I get right up after I fall, but not this time. I couldn’t move. I layed in the dirt and balled my eyes out. My mum ran after the horse. She caught him and put him into a stall. She came back and tried to get me to stand but I couldn’t. It hurt so much to move. She called Joe [barn owner] but he wasn’t home. She then went and found one of the stable hands. His name was Andrew. Andrew took care of Clue for me while we tried to call Joe again. This time my mum got a hold of him. He came and brought me a blanket and a pillow. I started shaking horribly from the shock. Joe called an ambulence for me and they took care of me. They poked about 3 IVs into me because my veins weren’t cooperating. =[ It hurt a lot.
So they took me to the hospital and I got x-rays done. No broken bones, thank goodness. My arm is all gouged up and I bruised so many bones. I’m so sore. I can’t walk right now. =[ It sucks.
[Edit]
Here are some pictures of my arm haha.
Tay - Great balls of fire! Thank God that none of your bones were broken. I take it you’ll still keep on riding anyway, though. Heheh. ![]()

Good golly! Oh man, that must’ve hurt alot! Poor you Tay.
Tay- Ouch! That looks like it really, really hurt! But thank goodness you didn’t have any broken bones, that must’ve been a relief. I hope you get better soon!
Thanks everyone!
The doctor told me I was so so lucky. I should have broken or fractured something by the way I landed. I’m doing a bit better today. I can walk a bit now. It still hurts, but it’s going to for a while.
And of course I’ll still be riding haha. Clue is going to be in a ton of trouble. I have Joe working with us now. =] I’m terrified to ride my own horse, but I’m game for anyone elses haha. ^^;;
Tay- Thank goodness! And yep, when you fall off your horse, you’ve gotta get straight back on! ![]()
I’ve just come back from a friends birthday party. We were all spraying eachother with fizzy lemonade, and a few of us were chasing one of my other friends, Holly. She tripped over the pavement and went flying! Her shoe landed about twenty metres in front of her, and she badly scraped her elbows and knees. There was a lot of blood involved.
Sure, not a hospital experience, but just my friends and I being silly with lemonade. ![]()
Wow Tay, now that is what I call passion right there. You fall down and you get right back up again. Hopefully, your next fall won’t be as painful.
lizardgirl–Ohh yes. Number one in the rule of riding. No wait, make that number two? Number one is ‘Never run over the instructor’ hahaha.
TSS–Oh yes. I’ve been doing this for eight years. No way am I going to stop now. It’s not really something I can help. You fall off, you gotta get right back on [unless you’re making hospital visits haha]. Whenever I fall off, I always jump right back up and yell “I’m okay!”. This time wasn’t like the others though haha. I couldn’t get up
. Worst fall yet. Hopefully I can sort this evil beast out. I’ve ridden him four times in total. I’ve fallen off three out of four times.
Idiot horse.
three of four times? Well, based on the percentage, there could be a chance that the next time you ride him, you might fall off again, but I hope both you and your horse can sort it out okay with no more injuries or hospital trips.
Hahaha yep. XD
Naw. He’s getting a good butt kicking tomorrow. ^^ No more ER trips for me.
Lets hope so. Everytime I hear someone go to the hospital, I become really worried for that person, even if I don’t know/like him/her.
