Well, I am a big Pixar fan for years, and seen all their movies but Cars. I heard a few good and a few bad comments on it, but I truly believe you guys can answer me the best…
Is it as good as all the other Pixar movies?

Well personally, I think it is one of the best. But I’m biased. 
I don’t think it was one of the best, but if you are a true Pixar fan you should watch it as soon as possible. And there’s Mater, you can’t miss Mater!

Personally, I think it is one of Pixar’s worst. But it is still a good movie on its own, compared to other movies in general. I felt it was a bit slow paced (I know it was the point of the story, but still), and I didn’t connect with the characters. It’s good to watch one maybe, two times because there are a few enjoyable things in this movie, but any more than that is a bit much. But each to there own.
Well Cars is my favorite movie ever. I love the story, the characters and the humor.
I highly recommend getting it on DVD.
I agree with rachel. It’s on the bottom of the list on my Pixar rankings, but it ain’t all that bad of a film.
Phalkor: First off, welcome to Pixar Planet! Second, I think Cars is a really good Pixar film. I just feel that this isn’t their best film and it had so much potential too.
Cars is the Pixar film that grows on me every time I watch it.

First time I saw it, it was just “ok” to me.
Second time, a little better.

You’ll love it. I know it. I wasn’t too crazy about a movie about talking cars, but it was my favorite movie after seeing five minutes of it. Now it’s my second favorite movie (first is Ratatouille).

Although Cars is at the bottom of my Pixar list, it is still so much better than 99 percent of modern animated films. It’s grown on me as well over time, and although it may not be Pixar’s best, it’s stil worth watching and buying on DVD.

Cars is what got me to find this website and Upcoming Pixar … and even though it’s my second favorite , I still wouldn’t be here , or anywhere else with my name that’s gottalovepixar , without it …
It’s my fave Pixar film. By FAR.
It also inspired me to draw more.
And it turned me into more of a gearhead. 
But that’s just me.

Cars is an amazing film. It’s funny, beautiful to watch, and has wonderful characters that each have their own distinct qualities. It’s a great world to watch, even though some people may have trouble picturing cars as living things. I, personally, fell right into it. It’s believable. They made it believable. I hope you enjoy it!
I was already a gearhead and racing fan so naturally I was attached to it.
