Very cool, pixarfan9099! I’m glad that you got a response.
I don’t think I ever mentioned this, but my mom sent a letter to Pete Docter around Christmas of last year… and received a response exactly two days after she had sent the letter. That’s the fastest reply I’ve ever heard of from Pixar – she must have caught Mr. Docter on a free day!
My mom was very touched by Up for specific reasons, hence her note to Pete. Obviously, my whole family and I were very touched by Mr. Docter’s hand-written response. If you’re reading this Pete, then I say “thank you” to you, Sir, for putting a smile on my mom’s face!
Here’s some pictures of the autographs I have gotten.(I don’t know why I keep forgetting to do this.)
Here’s Pete Docter’s autograph:
John Lasseter’s autogragh:
And Elissa Knight’s autograph.(I blocked out my name) I was really excited about this one. She also sent me a piece of cardboard which I have no idea what for.
Great autographs everyone has! It’s nice to see that responses happen frequently…
The piece of cardboard in mention - if it’s blank, some of those pieces like you get in calendars can be great for art. Acrylic paint works well on them.
Oh, that’s my foot. I have ugly feet, but I was taking said pictures with a phone, and I’m not the best photographer, anyway. Thanks, Ami, LG and SL!!! After getting the pre-printed one, I thought I was done, so yesterday was a pleasant surprise.
I know I’ve already told you how much I love it, but I’ll say it again. Congratulations, and I love it!!! All the autographs on here, I’ve noticed that Brad Bird writes a lot of interesting comments.
Yeah you are so right!
John Lasseter is my greatest idol ever in my life.
When I see all these autographs here I probably will write a letter too to get an autograph from one of my idols of Pixar!
