You can either address the letter to him, or just mention you want his autograph in the letter. It’ll be tougher if you send it to him personally probably, since he’s on publicity now. If you just put “To Pixar” they’ll be able to read it and send you a pre made (but original) autograph quicker, I’m guessing.
I actually got mine!
I might have emailed them back in June of 2009 after seeing UP and then just got them last week, but no matter.
I had asked for two for my younger brother’s birthday, one of Toy Story and one of Wall-E, and I got both as well as a note saying that they were sorry about the delay and then wished the brother a happy belated birthday.
It was probably one of the happiest moments of my life: opening a manila envelope with the Pixar logo on the front and having John Lasseter’s and Andrew Stanton’s signatures starring back at me.
Can I have an example of how to ask for an autographed picture of a specific movie? I really love Cars. So how would I ask Pixar for John’s autograph on a Cars picture?
This my first post and I wanna ask if its possible to receive something from Pixar if I send a letter from Portugal (Europe)? I’ll give it a try and just hope so.
Altough I love all Pixar movies, I’ll write to John Lasseter, definitly, because I love both Toy Storys, 1 and 2 (haven’t seen the 3rd yet, his premiere at Portugal is just at the end of the month), and probably Pete Docter because Up is my mom’s favorite movie and I love it too.
I will MOST definitley have to try this! My hands are already shaking with the thought of holding an autograph of Andrew Stanton or John Lasseter! And on an actual PICTURE!?!?!?
I’m going to send a request next week! And if I get a reply, I will let everyone know here on this forum!!!
