Hello, all!
Well, as of this morning, I sent off my request to Pixar for Andrew Stanton’s and John Lasseter’s autographs! I specially requested that they could write them on two different pictures from two of my favorite films - “A Bug’s Life” and “WALL-E”!
I think I can be patient and wait… 
From what I gather, I’ll recieve some sort of reply around the middle of August!
If I do, I’ll be sure to post the update on this forum!!! Thanks again for the advice and the info!!!

So I would personally fancy one from Pete Docter as he always writes a good response with some pretty cool drawings. And of course John Lasseter, how could I forget my all-time hero? Even though it may be pre-printed with no message due to him being so busy, it would totally make my day (and life!) 
I wrote a letter to Bud Luckey, but I got it returned to me in the mail today with a stamp on it that says “Return to Sender, Addressee not Employed at Pixar”. Does anyone know where he is or how I could contact him? Thanks for your help!
This is my first post (I think!!) Anyway this sounds so amazing. It would be unreal to have an autograph from John Lasseter and Pete Docter (his on an Up photo). Wow… I’m so thrilled and excited!! I’m going to type out a letter now and mail it tomorrow this is absolutely amazing!! Thanks so much for posting this I’ll let you all know (by late August or September, I guess) if it comes!! I just put my letter in the mailbox, with a little doodle I did of Carl. I’m so excited, I hope it gets here by September. It would make going back to school a little less depressing with autographs from Pete Docter and John Lasseter

I might try writing to John Lasseter or Lee Unkrich in the near future. What are the odds I’ll get something back? 1-9,999? LOL
B&WF- If you write to JL, you’ll most likely get a pre-printed autograph. I don’t know about Lee.

From what I’ve seen, you’re most likely to get a personal autograph from Pete.
Sweet. In that case, I might do three seperate letters, One for John, one for Pete, and one for Lee.
I actually sent a letter to Pete Docter early in the year (right before the Oscars, I believe), with a sketch of Carl and Russel, just saying that I really appreciated the work they do at Pixar, and on Up, and that I wished him luck at the Oscars. Unfortunately, the date at the top of his reply suggested he didn’t get it until after the ceremony, so I felt kind of bad, but he still thanked me.
But on the subject of pre-printed autographs, while I’m not sure if this applies to the ones on photos, but I compared the autograph and classic Carl and Kevin doodles that he puts on them to another letter I saw online, and saw a couple of inconsistencies. Odds are, Pete does them himself!
Pete tends to reply , not just with a real autograph (that isn’t pre-printed) but with a whacking great message and even a doodle too. Depends what you put in your letter.
He’s not been heard of for a while now, so chances are you’ll get his autograph. Try it, B&Wf! Oh, and Lee is probably so busy with TS3 releases at the minute you might get a pre-printed one from him too.
I’ve always longed for JL’s autograph too, but because it’s likely to be a pre-printed one, I don’t bother. I’d like to try Docter too, though.

Also (this is a stupid question), does it matter what kind of paper I write the letter on?
Also, should I address the letter to Pete Doctor himself, or just “Pixar Animation Studios”?
