Didn’t they say 2013?
Paramount already gave it a release date:

I thought it was 2013? I guess they must have pushed the movie’s release date back. That’s about three years away. That’s a long time…
Interesting. I’ll most likely forget all about it until closwer to the year it premiers.
The How to Train your Dragon series has some great potential. The movie was awesome and I am sure the 2nd one will be great. If they truly don’t lighten the show up it will be great too. These guys sure did learn from Pixar on storytelling 
I wouldn’t say they learned it from Pixar. Chris & Dean did have expireince in story telling, with Lilo & Stitch.
Oh that it explains then as that was a good movie too
Wait Chris as in Chris Sanders the cretor of Lio Stich? Wow I need to read the end credits I had no idea he had anything to do with How to train your dragon. 
Yup he created Lilo&Stitch. The first time I saw Toothless, I noticed he kinda look similar to Stitch. And sure enough I looked up online who was directing and it was Chris and Dean.
