In the new Wall-E video game montage that Upcoming Pixar posted, near the half-way mark, you can see the humans. They are wearing some sort of red spandex, blobby, sitting in their hover-chairs, and with a holographic video screen in front of their faces coming from the chairs. Hmm, I figured maybe more blob-like when I first heard of humanity no longer using their legs.
I was wondering if maybe humanity had gotten so used to overcomplimenting themselves and not wanting to hear negativity that that could be the reason why they don’t make any effort to change themselves or do any exercise.
On the back of my Wall-E action figure packages, they list the Axiom’s Captain as being a figure, though I don’t know exactly what child would purchase an overweight ship’s captain who just seems to sit around.

Ha, this is the second time someone has randomly replied to one of my sigs, off-topic of course, and I had to change it the last time. Why doesn’t anyone just PM me about it?
Considering I’m currently unemployed and I spent everything I had on it, that $650, and boosted performance (especially the new graphics card that an animator would really appreciate) would really be looking good right now. I would have held out knowing the new intel processors were coming but I had to have it for school so I couldn’t wait!
I just wonder how come Apple could care less they just screwed me and thousands of others out of $650+, but when the iPhone dropped prices, they compensated the early adopters. If I bought the memory they were selling for $400.00 at the time then I’d be out $850.00 but I bought it from an outside vendor so its equal in price.
An $850.00 price drop is kind of steep, considering thats more than my Dads HP desktop was all-together and with that savings I could’ve bought two iPhones. Just doesn’t seem fair to me but, I love my iMac, so besides the money I don’t have I’m happy with what I got.
Back on topic, the new image with the captain is super blobby, and it mostly shows in the pudgy hand with tiny fingers!
The Captain is wearing another one of those spandex suits and he is also wearing what looks like one of those naval captain jackets, but he is wearing it around his neck. It’s a normal human-sized jacket, so it only fits if he wears it with only the top button buttoned.
So, what do you guys think? When I first heard about it and saw an accompanying picture (the only one released – fat captain), I almost swallowed my tongue, and my brother and I keeled over laughing. Yeah right, with half the world industrialized and the other half still in agrarian third worlds, it would take globalized capitalism to obtain that kind of prosperity. But I’m not that offended; the question is whether… Well, we’ll see!
