I hate it when people call Toy Story, Toy Story 1. It is the first Toy Story but you don’t have to put a 1 after it. Toy Story is the title of the movie not Toy Story 1.
Ask someone " Do you like toy story?" and the response will be:
“witch one , number 1 or number 2?”
toy story 2 should be called
TOY STORY 2 woodys decition…or something like that
I usually say Toy Story 1 because there are 2 movies, but in the future, there will be three.
People just do that so there isn’t any confusion, because they think if they just say Toy Story someone will ask “Which Toy Story?”. It’s like when the very first Star Wars came out and George later had to add the title “A New Hope” cause of making the prequels. I do try to just say Toy Story though cause I figure everyone will know that it’s the first one.
Perhaps we need some alternative titles for ‘Toy Story 2’, such as ‘The Capture of Woody’ or ‘The Zurg Strikes Back’. Or maybe that’s a bit too much.
A subheading like “Revenge of the Fallen” just doesn’t fit on Toy Story. I usually refer to Toy Story as just Toy Story, unless I’m talking to my sister because Toy Story to her means the whole continuity.
Wow! That annoys me, also!! Good point.
I’ve never referred to the first Toy Story as Toy Story 1. I guess if I’m talking about it, unless I call it Toy Story 2, people just assume I’m referring to the original.
Alas, some people are not as Pixar/Toy Story savvy! Just like what Flik-E said, whenever I say “Toy Story” - they always ask which one, so I have to say “one” or “the first one.” Just the way it goes, I guess…
What I really hate is when peoole refered to Buzz Lightyear of Star Command as toy story 3 they don’t dothat any more I hope. But they did when it first came out and on in to the serries.
Saying the first one and one are very different. If somone asks me which one I’ll say the first one or I’ll just annoy the person and say Toy Story again.
That happens to me sometimes. When I’m talking to someone about Toy Story, they’ll say “which one?” and I’ll say “Toy Story…” and they’ll be like “yes, but which one?” and I’ll be like “Toy Story!” and they’ll be like “I know, but which one?!” Then, I usually give up, sigh, and say “Toy Story 1” I tend to call these people NOOBS, inexperienced people, or special people.
