I love Houston,but some people embarrses it.

I kinda live in an embarrassing city too. And not because of the people. Thatās just the way our city
isā¦
I live in the city that had to deal with the scares of
Ecoli, West Nile, Norwalk, and SARS. Canāt help but be a little embarrassed about
that.
Well, every city has good points and bad points. I mean, if you live in
Houstonā¦Well, is that the Houston with NASA, or am I being stupid? Because if so, then thatsās something to be
proud of!
I very
well admire that about Houston ,its just that we havnt won a championship in years from any of our sports
teams,and that lady from houston uggg. 
Hey, the Houston Astros were the runners-up of the 2005 World Series, so thatās
something to be proud of.
Of course, Iām rooting for the Seattle Mariners (some of my friends here in
Canada wonder why Iām not rooting for the Blue Jays), but at least the Astros arenāt the Yankees (sorry New
Yorkers out there - I still consider the Yanks the āEvil Empireā 
)
To tell you the truth, I love where I live. I am just happy, and I donāt need to be
emabarassed about anything.
Well, Jade Goody sometimes makes people in the UK look a
bit stupid, after that massive rascism row and everything. But she is a part of a growing and rather
scary culture that is taking over, soā¦Apart from that, everything is good.
