I think Lois Maxwell defined the character and no other interpretation has ever come close. I thought the Craig-era would be the right one to do it, but the way they handled the character disappointed me, so besides the obvious differences in appearance (what is it with reboots that they always feel the need to make a character of a race other than the original? Political correctness? I think so, and if that’s true, they had already done it with Felix Leiter, and I don’t see why they had to do it again in the same franchise), the personality of the character was very different from the one I know and love.

But at least I liked how they handled Q, and I also think I will like the [spoil]new M very much.[/spoil]
