I Will Go Sailing No More or Strange Things?

Who did you feel for more, Woody or Buzz ?

Buzz defo for me because Woody was more jealous and I can’t rally feel for jealousy, and because I like Buzz more :bulb:

I like the Strange Things scene alot but I feel more for Buzz.
Woody lost all his friends and Andy to Buzz but what was going on was only a phase.
What Buzz thought he was, was all a lie and he had to find out the hard way.

Although I liek the strange things song better and can relate to Woodys situation more, Im going to have to say I will go sailing no mroe is alot more powerful. esspecially when he it about to jump and you almost think hes going to make it. You really feel sorry for Buzz .

I, as well, would call “Strange Things” the overall better song/scene, but “Sailing” is easily the more powerful of the two. And that’s completely by design; “Strange Things” is generally played for laughs, and the other isn’t.

I wouldn’t really compare the two at all, I guess…UniversalPolymath is right, [/i]Strange Things[/i] was quite humourous whilst Sailing No More was very, very sad, and you can’t help but feel for Buzz.

I’d say a much more potent scene that really shows what Woody’s going through is when him and Buzz are trapped in Sid’s room and they have that conversation whilst Woody is stuck in the crate and Buzz has that rocket strapped to him. There isn’t a song at that moment, but I think that’s when we see just how hurt Woody has been by all of this, more so than the scenes when Strange Things is playing.

I like both songs, but I think like Strange Things alot more.

As for Sailing No More, I didn’t cry or anything, but I did feel sorry for Buzz. My fondness for him grew after that.
