So, I went to the movies the other day, and I saw the teaser for Ice Age!
[spoil]It is the Dawn of the Dinosaurs, so that clearly tells what it is about.[/spoil]
One of my major concerns is that they have turned this into another Shrek series - caring only about the profit and marketing and losing interest in depth of the characters and storyline. (Thank God for Pixar!)
So, what do you think?
Well, I think 2 was good enough, nothing more. BUt now, I starting to feel a little unsure about the next one.
Agreed - maybe they’ll surprise us. (pleasantly, that is)
They might. I’ll be open for it. If people like it, then I’ll go see it in theatres.
It won’t be coming out until July of 09, or something like that. So we’ll all probably be seeing it just after 'Up.’

Just now realized that - well “Ice Age”, I guess I’ll have to see you first, cause if I watch you after a Pixar film, I’ll be let down!
I think we can clearly see who will be the box office champ here (although stranger things have happened…)
I really don’t what to think about a third Ice Age Movie. I really hated the first movie, but I loved the sequel. I need to see a trailer for the movie first before i can really say my true opinion about the third movie.
Sometimes, I just wonder what new actors are going to play in the movie. I wonder what kind of characters they might be able to play as well.
Yeah, Dreamworks might not have the creative juices Pixar has (or then again, they don’t keep it up in a series) but they come up with some wacky characters - Crash and Eddie, for instance. I think “Shrek” has to be the most creative for them. Guess we’ll have to wait and see!
from what i heard the same cast will appear again. I just wonder else will lend their voice to the third movie.

I didnt know there was enough demand to warrant a third one. One thing though, I thought the dinosaurs came before the ice age?
I think they are trying to imply that they unfroze - remember the fish monsters (whatever they’re called!) from the second. And there might not have been a “demand”, but the two did very well at the box office - if a movie does good enough there, it nearly guarantees another!
Well I never saw either of them, so I cant judge myself. But they’re going to unfreeze?
That’s what I"m assuming, but since it was only a teaser trailer I can’t say for certain. And I HIGHLY suggest you watch 1 and 2 - they really are great movies.
This should be good…I guess. I liked the first two movies. Shrek I agree was better in my opinion.
I watched the teaser and the film looks promising. I loved both of the previous films and anxious to watch this film.
I cant wait for this movie to come out!
I think that SKRAT is the best character ever in the movie, so I cant wait to see him again in the movie! 
I was just thinking that there are probably going to be several Jurassic Park analogies in this film. The ripples in the puddle will most definitely be there, but more will probably be there, like the super-intelligence of the raptors - whom Scrat will most likely beat up like he did the fish (Go Scrat!). Just a thought. 
I’ve always like both “Ice Age” movies. The first one was perfect, the second one was good, but not AMAZING, but I think this third one won’t be bad, seeing as how Blue Sky just came off “Horton,” which is so far their best movie.
But I think It’s a little too early to have posters in the theater ALREADY! I saw like two different posters for it at the same place. And it’s not even coming out for another year! I think the publicity department needs to chill. 'Ice Age" has always been pretty satisfactory, and they’ll still have a good audience, so they’ve really got nothing to worry about.
