That’s an interesting point, Sarah. I don’t think Toy Story 3 will make a big difference in what I bring when I go this September though, as I never really planned on bringing any toys and still won’t- I don’t think my room will be big enough for all my stuff!
Plus my university is only an hour and a half away from home, so I plan on popping back every now and then anyway, so I shouldn’t miss my toys too much.
I’ll definitely be bringing my Randall plushie, though.
I’m not entirely sure what it’s going to do for me. I mean… I always thought that I was the same age as Andy. When I first heard that he was 18 in this movie I thought “Wait, if him and I were 6(ish?), when the first movie came out, shouldn’t he be about 21, now?”. I don’t know, I could be wrong or maybe Pixar just decided to cheat.
I find it funny cause I’ll be getting out of college as Andy is going in. I know somewhere in this movie something about Andy leaving his things behind is going to hit me, hard. I already know that I’m going to cry a river silently to myself as I watch. I can also say that watching the trailer makes me miss some of the toys that I’ve forgotten about. Oh the bittersweet memories of my talking Bugs Bunny, Polly Pockets, and Barbies. Emotionally, my poor mind is going to be violated when I watch TS3.
This is pretty interesting to me as well. This has actually been my first year in college and when the movie comes out I’ll have finished my Junior year. So I guess everything that Andy will experience, I already have.
i’m starting college the same year too. but i get to live at home. so, i don’t have to worry about bringing my toys… except, i don’t really have any toys unless my cameras and musical instruments count. haha.
