If you could add a scene

We all love the movie so much right? It was an incredible movie from the start of it to the very last

item mentioned in the credits. With that, I wanted to see what you guys would have added, removed, or changed in

this DVD. Any suggestions at all.

Although it would probably kill the

flow of the movie, it would have been cool to see a sort of family meeting after all was said and done, but

before the track meet. A cute family “squishy hugs 'n cheesy jokes” moment. Maybe a chance for the

kids to start planning out their futures could go in that scene too.

Ooh, very good question, TSS.

The

Incredibles in itself is a fabulous movie. So if I really could go back in time and change

something, I still wouldn’t. Nevertheless, if I had too, I’d say that guy who

owned all the planes (“Let me think…”) would be “re-cut” into the movie. He seemed like a

nice guy.

I’d like to reintegrate the scene with Snug and the

“laundry” scene that was cut. The first was cut for time and the second for content but as someone who

is more than just average viewer of this film it would be a great addition.

Personally, I would love to input the Vipers scene in the movie. Maybe also, since there was a

while part just for Dash, I beleived there should have been a specail Super part for Violet. At least that way,

every character has their moment in the spotlight.

Good question.

I think the film is damn near close to perfect but saying that, during the time when Bob

was having his secret meetings, I would have liked to have seen a little bit of time (less than a minute) seeing

Helen doing the mundane things, but I don’t know, I guess we already did see her do the housewife stuff at the

beginning which was meant to show how she wasn’t living an exciting life anymore.

I just thought it would

have contrasted well with Bob’s new exciting life, and also you would have understood a bit better why Helen

would have been so angry supposedly catching Bob having an affair while she was being the good housewife (can’t

believe I am saying that about a Pixar movie, but this film has so many levels).

But I have only seen this

film less than five times, which really doesn’t do it justice, but that’s just something off the top of my

head. Other than that it is just about a perfect film, which happens to be in the uh, (*tries hard not to say

“genre”*), uh, medium of animation, which I enjoy watching.

I also would have liked to have

seen Violet use her powers a bit more, simply because of that cool reverberating sound it makes when she uses her

force-field. Maybe it’s because her personality is a little bit shy, and she only want to use her powers when

needed? In TI2 she’ll use them more, I think, simply because she’ll be more confident.

Yeah Rachel, i love the Idea of

Violet using her powers more. Maybe a little more offensively than defensively. Her having her own fight scene

would be nice.

Just curious, who

would want that alternate opening put in? I can see why they took it out, but still…it was pretty funny!

:stuck_out_tongue:

I wouldn’t want it in there for keeps. I guess it might

be because I’m so used to original. The alternate opening made it seem like they were already hiding from

society. I mean, yeah, that exactly what they were doing then. But it was more their choice at that point. That

would have made the movie go from ‘happy and hiding’ to ‘miserable and hiding’.
I think the change in

the theatrical release was more profound by moving from ‘happy and fighting crime’ to 'miserably doing

nothing’.
Plus I feel there would probably be a need to go into the whole ‘Supers shouldn’t breed” matter

further along in the movie. Mentioning it once would be a needless point that would leave the audience guessing

about it and the ramifications of doing so.
Still, I really did get a kick out of Syn being foiled by baby Vi

spitting up on him.

I would love to see how the Alternate Opening would work out. THen you would get Xerek for a

character and I am so intrested to what he could do as a villain.
