If you could live anywhere in the world...

Emeryville, of course. If I end up with game design, I’ll probably end up near Seattle, which is nice, I’ve seen Seattle. It’s pretty gorgeous. Other than that, I’d want to visit Japan, Venezuela (now, those tepuis look STUNNING), New York, and Niagara Falls. I’d love to live in Florida as well.

Well, as of right now, I want to be living in SoCal. Like, someone buy me a plane ticket right now. I can’t wait any longer to get there!!! :frowning:

I LOVE where I live right now. On Route 66 in the Midwest of the US is the best place to be!

It’s funny, as since posting this my views on living abroad have changed completely. As others have said, travelling is one thing, but actually living in a different country is something else entirely. There’s no place like home!

Yup… no place like home. But for those who really wanna travel but don’t want to leave home can blow up some balloons and tie them to the house. Now THERE’S an idea!

I kinda know how you feel… when we went to Connecticut (which is like, only a few states away ) I had a great time there and stuff, but as soon as we crossed the border to my state, it was like, I just let out this contented sigh. I was home. My mom says she feels the same way every time she comes into our state from traveling. No matter how many other places you’ll visit in your lifetime, and even if your hometown was the tiniest town on earth, something about coming back to it will always feel right.

Dang, I’ve really changed my idea on where I’d like to live! I’d like either . . . a.) California (no snow!), b.) Westport, Connecticut, or c.) somewhere in Arizona along Route 66 (still).

b.) is at the moment my favorite choice. But that could all change!

Yes, they’re all better than here.

Canada, Japan, Portugal (but not Lisbon), Russia, maybe the US

LightningandDoc: What’s so important about Westport, CT? Not that it matters, I’m just curious.

And I’m so with you on moving anywhere where there isn’t snow during the winter!! I hate the stuff!! :frowning:

right now, New Orleans

You hate snow?

YOU. HATE. SNOW?

WHAT ARE YOU?

^ I live in the worst place in the world for snow, and I’ve gotten into a car accident thanks to snow… plus winters up here drag on for almost six months with freezing temps, and I have nothing to do during the winter so I get so cooped up and depressed.

And you’ve probably never gotten 200+ inches of snowfall before, so it’s no wonder you don’t hate the stuff.

Sweden. I would live there.

Emeryville, Japan, or England. Pixar is the only reason I would ever stay in the US after I graduate.

Me too! If not Emeryville, then somewhere near there like San Fran or Oakland (though there are way too many earthquakes!)

You don’t wanna live in England, though. Very rainy and cold. And a big Credit Crunch. Though on a positive note, you could live near me!

I would like it there, I hate warm weather. We could meet in person!!! I still say we should have a PP convention. I want to meet some of you guys so bad!!!

Yeah, since I started this thread my attitude towards my home has changed drastically. I used to want to move to a different country so badly, but now I can’t imagine living anywhere else. Strange how things change like that.

Well i live in England, and i reaaaaally want to move haha. I do like loads of people here and what not, lots of mates and big family all within 4 miles of my house (except for a few that live in Canada). I’d live in USA eaaaasily, its easily best country in the world to live in. Particularaly the west coast, or west states, e.g. California, Oregon etc. LA, San Francisco (Spelt right?), and Portland in particular.

Good question!

Well, I’ve always loved Brazil for their culture and food.

or Germany, because of it’s beautiful cities, mountains, culture, and language. I’ve been studying German for the last three, so I have a grasp on the language all ready.

Or Ireland. I’ve been there before, and I loved it. So beautiful and the people are kind and fun.
