I know, same here. I’d be so excited I’d have no way to express it, and I’d explode!
Sealy: Are you really her cousin?

Yeah! We see each other all the time.
So now what do i do??? Talk about what I would do???
Sealy- That’s great! Well, basically we talk about whatever the topic is about! This page is what you would do if you got a tour of Pixar Animation Studios.
For more information, be sure to read the site rules!

Kenzie: Yessir, we’re cousins! Blood-related and all that. I can finally say I’ve met a PP member in real life
Thanks Celie!
I wouldn’t survive either. I think the shock would just explode my little old heart
I got to go on a tour of Pixar but that’s cuz I kind of knew someone. They don’t usually give tours. But I’ll describe some of the neat stuff for you guys if you want, tho I have to try to remember it all cuz you cant take pictures except outside or in the lobby. Once you enter the gate to the studio you walk to the main building. I think it’s 2 storys. There’s lots of grass and what looks like an outdoor seating area where I guess they can do stuff outside if they want. In front of the main building is the giant lamp and ball (really huge). Between the main building and the new building they have a swimming pool and a basketball court, with the big yellow ball logo on the court. They have a new building also. The new building will have a small theater on the first story and the second story is where they will work on thinking up and planning new films. But most of the daily work will still take place in the main building. In the lobby of the main building (they call it the atrium) is where you check in. The center of it is where people walk around and sit and talk. And along the perimeter is a cafeteria, the gift shop, a room where everyone picks up there mail, a snack room, etc. And all around the lobby are life size characters from Pixar films like Sully and the little green aliens from Toy Story. Also in the lobby is a glass case where they put all there awards like Oscars and others. What’s nice about the lobby or atrium is that all the pixar people are walking around and talking and stuff (I met some of the artists just walking around the lobby). And I saw a couple scooters parked that some people use to get around on. Once you leave the lobby you get to all the offices and cubicles. The ones in the animation area are all decorated differently by the animators depending on what kind of stuff they like (like one was totally all tiki!!) You cant take any pictures outside the lobby tho (to bad because you wouldn’t believe how cool some of the areas and cubicles look!) All over the building, art is posted on the walls all over the place. Some of it is artwork from the current movie or older movies they made. Other art is by the pixar artists, but there own private art that they made at home having nothing to do with pixar (really good). They also have murals and collages and photographs all around. It’s really a studio of art! There is a small recording room where they can record voices where a bunch of people who recorded there signed there names on the outside wall. Then there is the computer room where all the pictures get rendered. I think it was called the renderfarm. Its behind a glass case, a bunch of giant computers with like a rubber fake dead body underneath them (very funny!) And besides the “dead body” with the computers inside the glass case are a bunch of small shot glasses, because the computer room is… where they render the shots. But probably the best place is the screening room or theater in the main building. It is SO cool! When the movie is about to start the lights dim and you hear the sound of crickets chirping! And on the ceiling are twinkling stars and even shooting stars as the movie begins. I want that theater in my room! Back in the lobby you can buy stuff from the gift shop. They sell things like hats and tshirts, books and dvds and stuff. It’s really a cool studio but I can see why they don’t usually give tours, because its a very open place with everyone walking around and all kinds of work going on. It’s not like Universal Studios or anything. I’m just lucky I got a chance to see it.
^Hey do you think you could get us in, lol.
So, this beezy that I went to high school with got to go to Pixar today, and watch Cars 2. She has connections. So unfair, she’s not the nicest of people.
Awe, I wish I knew someone
Unfair!
On topic, I’d squeal, take as many pictures as I am allowed, admire absolutley every photo, painting, sketch, model and whatever else is there like a loony, and then I would ask questions. I’d love to interview Andrew Stanton and Darla K. Anderson the very most, and Mr. Lasseter himself, but to be honest I’d be happy to meet anyone. I’d also love to meet the storyboard artists, (because I’d love more than anything to be a storyboard artist) and ask them what is needed to do to work there. Because I don’t get all of that American high school/college jargon .
So she got a first look? What the heck? Lucky! Did she say whether she liked it or disliked it?
If she didnt like it shes insame
Well I don’t talk to her ever, I just read her facebook statuses. She didn’t say if she liked or disliked it, she was just bragging about how she got to go to Pixr.
Well thats mean!
Why couldn’t someone else who wouldnt brag get to go!
I don’t know, she isn’t the nicest or greatest of people.
That’s so sad.
Interesting enough, she did write what she thought of the movie recently on my status regarding Cars 2.
Awe I didnt see it is that true?
It is all a matter of opinion, but Mater does have a large role.
I still havent seen it
