In the words of Zurg:
“Prepare to die!”
Um… yeah. That’s scary.
I didn’t think it got worse than Video Brinquedo
After watching these, I think I died a little inside.
Why so serious guys? It’s not like they’re making huge profits out of this, and these trailers are utterly hilarious!
Spider’s Web is the most random one (what the heck was the explosion all about?). An Ant’s Life is my least favourite, cos it came off as the most annoying. I really like ‘A Car’s Life’ because of Sparky’s absurd animations and his line at the end: “I hate lemons… especially speed lemons!”
Bryko: Wow, that’s some really disturbing character models, not to mention it’s a shot-for-shot recreation of the original! I like the part where Beauty hits the ground with a smack at 1:51!
These knock-offs make Ratatoiing look like Citizen freakin’ Kane!
haha! “this is the place for…plop…the eggs” these are SO ridiculous!
I seriously had trouble controlling my laughter after watching these.
Yes! I haven’t been able to get that out of my head. I’m never looking at speed limit signs the same way ever again!
I loved that as well, that was terrible animation!
I nearly died laughing at that part. It look like he took a… well, you know.
I just finished watching A Car’s Life: Sparky’s Big Adventure!
My goodness! That was terrible. That company sure knows how to make some irritating characters.
Thedriveintheatre:I think he said limits not lemons.
He did say limits, but it sounds a lot like lemons.
Wow. Personally, I thought the BatB that Bryko posted was more in your face, but those are terrible!
Haha, I need to clear out my ears! It really does sound funnier as ‘lemons’, I suppose.
I watched the first part of An Ant’s Life on Youtube, and there was a mention of the lizards being Malaysian and the ants saying they need to go back where they came from. I was laughing at the M’sian reference and the xenophobic attitude of the ants.
Whoa, that’s kind of weird! I need to watch that one next.
Amazing! Had never heard of any of these. Fascinating that Peter Fernandez and Corrine Orr (of Speed Racer fame) were enticed into the Spark Plug Entertainment epics Spider’s Web: A Pig’s Tale and Plan Bee.
I’m very concerned about YouTube posters putting up entire films by Spark Plug and Video Brinquedo, thus damaging the animators’ copyrights.
Cheers! Steve
