I’m so glad I’m not getting eaten by that plant , and I plan not to touch it’s teeth , those are $100 to fix …
Oh , and if you mess everything up it’s a total of almost $20,000 !!

What budget is your school on? They did the show at my school when I was in senior year of high school, and it was low budget. I highly doubt the puppets they had were that expensive.
It’s a high school , and we do lots and lots of fundraisers . such as ads in our playbill . If each person gets $50 in ads , we have a bit more than enough to pay for Audrey II …
It’s kind of funny , because my friend Fiyero is playing the voice of the plant , and he’s pretty conceded … like that puppet is being … lol …
thank god I don’t have to go in the plant … although they’re thinking about selling pictures with the plant pod #3 … I hope they’ll let me sit on it or something … I know ! I’ll hug it or kiss it … because Audrey II’s are so cute !!

This is totally off-topic, but when I watch the 1986 movie I’m fine seeing Seymour chop people up and feed them to the plant, but I can’t stand watching him squeeze blood out of his finger. It is totally gross.
Play : Mushnik and Son , this is just funny , and the words show Mushnik’s jewish side a bit more … and his cheap side . LOL , two things him and my stepdad have in common (jk !)

Play : Skid Row , I don’t know about the real play , but ours is pretty dang cool ! I get to hop on a barrel ! Also , That’s when we get to use our moving walls and props the most (i think) , and our Mushnik has to be one of the best ! You should see him scaring our Seymour ( not in real life of course , in fact our Audrey , Seymour , and Mushnik are the best of friends , and you should see them in rehearsals , they have their own dances for little shop and skid row , and they look like the dreamgirls , besides the fact that only one of them are female )

I know, right? Now they’d do the plant with CGI, but the puppetry (I will henceforth until my dying day refer to all puppeteers as “puppet-controlling guys”) in the movie was fantastic. Gotta love the little singing pods, too.
Since we are talking about LSOH,I think I mentioned before that my GF is going to try out for that musical. She wants the character of Audrey. She is starting to fall in love for the “Somewhere That’s Green” song. When she auditions, she wants to sing a song with a hint of that piece, you know what I mean? Anyone have a recommendation?
