Test[/url]

I scored:

I’ve always considered myself a combination

of nerd & geek. I like to learn a lot . . . but they are all about obsure stuff.

Usually I just

classify myself as a buffoon. I don’t know - It just sounds right . . . .

EDIT - Well, actually took the

Test:

Anyone notice that you can’t

properly add up those percentages together??

52 % Nerd, 39% Geek, 21%

Dork

"The times, they are a-changing. It used to be that being exceptionally smart led to being

unpopular, which would ultimately lead to picking up all of the traits and tendences associated with the

“dork.” No-longer. Being smart isn’t as socially crippling as it once was, and even more so as you get

older: eventually being a Pure Nerd will likely be replaced with the following label: Purely

Successful."

Hehe, that’s good to know… I suppose…

I think that it is (somehow) possible to score 100% nerd, 100% geek, and 100%

dork.

Done it all, then it hit out with technical difficulty. :smiling_imp:

KE is sharing this quiz with us because she assumes we’re all nerds, geeks, and dorks.

How low of you, KE.

;-p Just kidding, KE. I admit to being a total geek.

Here are my

results:

I am a pure geek. I scored 39% Nerd, 65% Geek, 47% Dork.

But the question about attending

a fan convention…I had an opportunity to go to the Chicago ComicCon this August, and it was even on my

birthday, but I chose not to. Money was an issue, like it is for everything

else.

Pure Nerd
65 % Nerd, 26% Geek, 34% Dork
For The

Record:

A Nerd is someone who is passionate about learning/being smart/academia.
A Geek is someone who

is passionate about some particular area or subject, often an obscure or difficult one.
A Dork is someone who

has difficulty with common social expectations/interactions.
You scored better than half in Nerd, earning you

the title of: Pure Nerd.

The times, they are a-changing. It used to be that being exceptionally smart led

to being unpopular, which would ultimately lead to picking up all of the traits and tendences associated with the

“dork.” No-longer. Being smart isn’t as socially crippling as it once was, and even more so as you get

older: eventually being a Pure Nerd will likely be replaced with the following label: Purely

Successful.

Well, that was informative.

You

scored better than half in Nerd and Geek, earning you the title of: Modern, Cool Nerd.

Nerds didn’t use

to be cool, but in the 90’s that all changed. It used to be that, if you were a computer expert, you had to wear

plaid or a pocket protector or suspenders or something that announced to the world that you couldn’t quite fit

in. Not anymore. Now, the intelligent and geeky have eked out for themselves a modicum of respect at the very

least, and “geek is chic.” The Modern, Cool Nerd is intelligent, knowledgable and always the person to

call in a crisis (needing computer advice/an arcane bit of trivia knowledge). They are the one you want as your

lifeline in Who Wants to Be a Millionaire (or the one up there, winning the million bucks)!

Congratulations!

I scored less than half on all of them, but I don’t

believe it. I am an Incredibles nerd, geek, and dork at heart.

78 % Nerd, 73% Geek, 34% Dork

Yes. I am a Modern,

Cool Nerd. Eat those high percentages. rocks out

Lol… that was

fun. I’m not as socially challenged as it seems. Heheh.

Modern, Cool Nerd
91% Nerd, 52% Geek, 47%

Dork

Ha! Beat THAT nerd percentage!

I was expecting a slightly

higher dork rating, seeing as I’m so anti-social, but I suppose it’s still pretty high.
