This is something that I would love to see happen. If we dont ever get a sequel, then perhaps
comics
I see there being 2 seperate titles for comics set in The Incredibles comics.
The
Incredibles- this comic would pick up after the events of The Incredibles 2: Rise of the Underminer video game
and follow the adventures of the family.
Mr. Incredible - This comic would focus on the Glory Days. We
would perhaps see how Bob met Helen and Lucious. We would get to see all the Supers before they were
killed.
What do you guys think?

Not such a
bad idea, but I would still prefer a sequel.
SPACEHERO55: I will
have you know that in Disney Comiczone magazine, there are comics that feature the adventures of The Incredibles,
believe it or not. I have read a couple of them already.

I think it’s a wonderful idea. I would love
to see a comic series based on The Incredibles family and their adventures and
travels after the events of the first film.
However, as The Star Swordsman
stated…a series of short comics was released in various Disney Adventure’s
magazines for a time while the film was still “in the spotlight”.
But if you’re referring to
something more adult-related and action-packed – such as a Marvel-style comic book
series – , then I definitely agree. They should make something like that for sure…
Mitch is right. For example, the Incredibles go to
Hawaii. In another one, they go to a large dam. The latest one was a trip to a zoo.
Yea I know about these comics in
Disney Adventures, while they were sort of cool they were also kind of lame and ultra kid freindly, I mean
Hawaii, a Dam and The Zoo? LAME!!
Dark Horse did come out with a direct adaptation of the movie in comics
format.
I want a true comic book. PG rated in nature just like the movie.
That is true that the G rated themes are lame, but I love them. But I guess a
continuation comic won’t be so bad. I alwayes wanted to know what happened next.

SPACEHERO55 - Yeah, my thoughts exactly. What’s
more exciting than going to a dam or a zoo for a vacation? Anything, that’s what! (snigger)
Why
couldn’t they have fought new villians or journeyed to a forbidden island or something? PG-rated
Incredibles comics is good for me. More my style – heheh.
Let’s just keep
dreaming and maybe they’ll hear our prayers. (snigger)
Oh I hope so, but in actuality, they are more likely to make a sequel before starting on a
feature comic adventure.

The Star Swordsman - Yeah, that would make sense. Then there
would be more information to include in future comics…
But also, the other way around could work too. I mean, if
no sequel comes out, and Pixar still wants to continue, then it would make sense to start with a comic.
I also do quite like the idea of a comic based on the Glory Days. The comic book style itself
would really suit this period of time, and it could reveal just what happened in the past to create the Mr.
Incredible we know and love today; I think it would be fascinating!
Yea Lizard Girl , besides the obvious the obvious comic about the continuing adventures of the
family I also think that there should be a Mr. Incredible Comic Book based on the glory days.
I say there
should be 2 titles. The Glory Days comic would start with an origin story on how Bob became a super and how he
gained his powers? was it some kind of accident that gave him his powers, were his parents supers too?
I
like to think that Mr. Incredible comes from a long line of Supers. His father was a famous Super who fought the
nazis durring WW2 his name was “Stronghold”
Where did the NSA get started? how did he meet
Frozone and Elastagirl? What other Villians did he fight? These are all really facinating questions that I would
love to see tackled in a Glory Days Mr. Incredible comic.
I agree with SPACEHERO55. But also, I would like to see what happened durring the 15 years the
SUpers were banned. In addition, a comic of Violet or Dash, or any other character in their own adventure would
sound wonderful.

Oddly enough, I wouldn’t mind having a collection of
Jack-Jack comics – like a series based just on him and how he matures from young infant to teenager to adult
with all of his superpowers enhancing along the way.
Well
Star Swordsman to be honest a comic set in the 15 years that Supers were banned would be kind of boring, I mean
nothing much happened. It would be a Superhero comic without Superheroes.
About each member of the family
having their own seperate book no. I think this would be overkill. I say jusy have one comic series and have
certain issues focus on different family members like issue # 5 would be a Dash story and issue # 7 would be a
Violet story and issue # 15 would Be a Mr. Incredible story and so on. There would be both stand alone issues and
some multiple issue story arcs.
At least in their own adventure
where they face danger, save the world from destruction, combat with an evil person, and be recognized world
wide. Now that is what I will be happy for.
I like the idea of Incredibles comics , but i would like to see individual comic book
series for Syndrome and Violet.
I would like Violet to have a series called Violet Parr: Invisigirl, and
for Syndrome…a series called Syndrome:Underdog Superghero of Disney/Pixar world. This would include some of his
adventures in the Glory Days trying to become Incrediboy.
PP- Very nice
ideas there, especially the Syndrome one. Maybe we’d get to find out exactly what happened in his past to create
the Syndrome we know now!
Why Oh! Why does Violet deserve her own series?
