Inkydragon's 'BRAVE' Concept of Merida's horse

I made these pictures by cross-referencing the leaked picture from BRAVE, as well as the concept pictures released a few months ago.
For the torso and legs I referred to anatomical studies of Shire horses, the horse breed that Merida’s horse is modelled on.

I am in the process of creating a 3d model (with rigging) of this picture, and will post pics of that when I am at a decently done stage.

Cool! You’re drawings are great, and I’d like to see your 3D model when it’s done! I’m amazed att how much you got out of a couple of concept pictures :astonished:

Thankyou! :slight_smile: I will post 3d pics when i have the basic model pass done.

I just watched the BRAVE trailer yesterday, seems the things I got wrong were more feathery feet, more white under the throat, and flatter, more angular hindquarters :smiley:

I’m loving how much Brave fanart already exists! And very little of it is for Merida’s horse; I love it!
