^Yes! Exactly what I meant.
I think the trailer looks absolutely amazing! It is great that we’re not only seeing the inside or Riley’s mind but also those of her parents. The animation is wonderful again and the Pixar humor is already back! It is fun to see the difference between man and woman and how the emotions react inside the mind.
Also if you take a look at the memory balls it looks like Riley has a lot more ‘anger’ ‘fear’ and ‘disgust’ colored memories. While her mother has a lot more ‘sad’ memories. Maybe this says something about Riley’s past and that she isn’t happy at the moment. I can’t wait to see more of the world inside the mind!
If Inside Out becomes a success maybe Cranium Command could be revived based off the film.
it happened with Subs in Disneyland too being revived after Nemo’s Success.
I feel that Pixar’s Inside Out could be the turning point that they so desperately need. Their last few movies haven’t been as memorable as their previous startin successors. But this one takes something original instead of doing something their used to when it comes to sequels. This seems to be very hilarious and entertaining. I honestly can’t wait for it.
Our first “leaked” image of Riley’s imaginary friend, “Bing Bong”.
Can’t wait to see more of him.
Well look no forward…to a couple of posts back.
Then again, that’s only a plush of him.
Then again, the image before the one I reposted is supposed to be an action figure, or maybe it is how he’ll appear in the movie.
I don’t know.
so who thinks John will voice Bing Bong?
It seems Inside Out is helping Scratch N Sniff live on…
A quick google search yielded these sites showing a not-yet-published Inside Out Scratch N Sniff book:
“Inside Out Bing Bong Board Book (Scratch N Sniff)”
Who “nose” what it’s like?
But chock full of amazing aroma, I’m sure, it’s due out in bookstores on 5/5/15…

Totally guessed they were on the Train of Thought before reading the line. Wonder what the light behind them is. I want to say brain stem.
This looks like it’ll be a sweet moment. Nice to see Sadness is smiling.
I love Joy’s absolutely massive eyes, by the way.
Train of Thought…
What a fantastic picture. I agree with Villaness. it is nice to see Sadness crack a smile.
Aw, that’s a cute picture
To sum up my thoughts about this film: the trailer was hilarious, the emotions look adorable, and I’m really looking forward to seeing the movie. So, I hope it will be good
i makes me wonder what your emotions look like.
I have to say, I’ve been thinking about the second trailer a bit and I’m not too keen on the way the emotions controlling Riley is shown. It kind of makes Riley feel less like a human being influenced by her emotions, and more like a robot being controlled by aliens. Before the trailer came out, I wasn’t really expecting it to work the way it did, with all of them sitting at a control panel pressing buttons. I was expecting something like…I dunno, maybe an emotion would get really riled up, glow a lot, and consequently Riley would share that emotion; something like that, that seems more supernatural and like she’s in sync with and kind of drawing the emotions from them rather than being their puppet.
And I know it’s early to make a call on this…but this way seems really mean. I mean, so when Riley cries, Sadness is actively making the decision and putting effort into making her do that? If Riley’s ever afraid without actually being in active danger, Fear’s making a conscious decision to scare her for no reason? I understand they feel the emotions, too, but they could effectively stop so many problems just by keeping their arms down.
I see your point, Villainess, but I think the control panel can be a nice representative of how people act under the influence of hormones - without really thinking about what they’re doing. Like how we say something in a fit of anger that we immediately regret, or when we feel fear even if we 100% know there’s nothing to be afraid of. That sometimes feels like we’re being mind-controlled.
Also, I like how the parents’ emotions start acting carefully and interact with each other, while Riley’s emotions react fast and without listening to each other, as if adults are better at controlling their emotions… or maybe I’m overanalysing it all and we’ll have to see the whole movie.
Some information on the new Inside Out toys by TOMY.
If you look closely, some parts of the clothing is fabric. I wonder if they’ll make the emotions for Riley’s parents?

So I finally finally saw the teaser yesterday… yeah I was hoping it would be on my Planes 2 blu-ray but it wasn’t so I had to go and watch it online (which I honestly try to do to a minimum, judge me if you will but I like seeing new trailers on DVDs or on the big screen!). But yeahhh the Joy in my head is doing cartwheels right now XD Words can hardly adequately put how I excited I’m feeling for this one… though this blog works blogs.disney.com/oh-my-disney/20 … haracters/
Just an update:
The scoring for Inside Out has now finished. As I posted about a few pages back, we recorded the music for most of the movie back in November, but the End Credits and a few last-minute tweaks were saved for today (Monday).
As with the other sessions, today’s session was held at Warner Bros., with Pete Docter and Jonas Rivera at the scoring stage, along with a camera to send pictures and sound back to everyone up north at Pixar. It was also something of a family day, for Pete Docter’s parents came to watch the session as well (he comes from quite a musical family).
The morning (and right after lunch) was spent recording some new material, as well as some tweaks and alternate versions to the cues we had recorded back in November… and after that, the later part of the afternoon was spent recording the large End Credits (with a lot of the film’s themes). We were told that the movie is close to finished at this point – that finishing up with us today was one of the last steps. So I guess it’s just a matter of waiting for it to come out (though I suppose there are still some things left to be done, such as foreign dubbings, etc).
I’m so glad I was able to work on this project. It’s a great film. Only five months til it’s out!
Absolutely awesome to hear, miafka! So excited that we’re only 5 months out till it’s released. So cool that you were able to work on this! So jealous, but you have something to be proud of. Can’t wait!
