In case any of you notice a lot of old cars, including some old cars that look like modern sports cars, on the road this coming Saturday, part of that is because July 4th has officially been designated as the first annual International Drive a Studebaker Day! If you have a Studebaker or Packard that’d driveable, get out there on the road with it and show it off! I’ll be driving my '61 Lark V8 Cruiser, of course, and have it entered in a car show the day before for championship points. The Studebaker Drivers Club, which has world-wide membership in over 35 countries, is encouraging all classic car enthusiasts to get out there, but especially those who have Studes or Packards. I’d love to see the Hudson-Nash folks represent, too.
