iPad story book

For anyone lucky enough to own an iPad there are two read along books available. Toy story is for free, Toy story 2 is priced at £5.49 in the UK from iTunes.

They are both very well done too.

Just saw a demonstration video of it. It’s such a great adaptation for the iPad. If I had an iPad, I’d buy this without hesitation - it will make storytime with the little 'uns I play with occassionally great fun (not to mention turning them into Pixar fans in the process :stuck_out_tongue:)!

Guess which e-book made a cameo in this iPad TV commercial?

Haha, I love the idea of this. Bedtimes all over the world will be changed now, with parents reading iBooks from their iPads to their children. That screenshot of the advert looks great, too.

My kids would love this. I’ve learned though, with Apple you wait for the 2nd gen. There’s also the fact that holding a book and turning the pages is a more tactile experience. Add in a crazed 3yr old getting his hands on an iPad. Ouch

This is off-topic, but speaking of books, they had the Look and Find at my local Target yesterday. I really, really wish I hadn’t looked in there… [spoil]It said something about a caterpillar room in the day care (the room with the crates and stuff)[/spoil]
