Thanks for the info JV. Now we know that Ratzenberger
will indeed be playing a part in Ratatouille. We just don’t know which character yet.

Jim Hill Media is a blog, so it’s not quite
official yet, but I guess Jim Hill is trustworthy enough - at least for those closely following Pixar, Disney, or
any other Disney affiliates. ![]()
I didn’t say that Mr. Ratzenberger’s name would appear as a restaurant in
the film, although…it would be kinda cool if that happened. Heh.
And as for the whole concept of Remy
having his own restaurant: Well, it sure makes sense…but wouldn’t that be going a little too far? Unless word
spread out that Remy was one of the best cooks in Paris, I’m not sure if the public would want to dine out at a
place that was run by a rat. Then again, I could be wrong. ![]()
JV - Thanks
for the link! I really don’t see any reason why Ratzenberger shouldn’t be in the film. If he’s not, then I’ll
be pretty surprised.
A trustworthy Wikipedian has just edited the Ratatouille article, and apparently, Dancing with the Stars has confirmed that Ratzenberger will be playing a maitre d’ in the movie. I don’t watch the show, so I don’t know for a fact if it’s true, but as I said, the person who edited the article is quite trustworthy.
If anyone watches the show, it’d be great if you can confirm. (I currently don’t have access to television, so I still won’t be able to confirm it by watching at least this particular episode.)
I never doubted, but it’s great it’s finally confirmed! ![]()
Thanks for the heads up, CountSolo!
CountSolo - I know for a fact that it’s confirmed, because I just recently watched Dancing with the Stars only a few minutes ago, and they showed a clip of John Ratzenberger doing a voice for one of the characters in Ratatouille.
Go John! ![]()
For those of you who didn’t see the Dancing with the Stars clip (including myself), here is a YouTube video that shows that very clip confirming John’s appearance in the movie:
The reference to Pixar was really short, but at least we now know for sure that the Ratzenberger streak will continue ![]()
