Is Steve Jobs deathly sick? Or was this an honest mistake?

I know I heard he had pancreatic cancer a few months back but he was supposedly recovering.

Then reports of him looking skinnier than usual at the last Apple show.

Then Bloomberg accidentally publishes his obituary

What gives?

Ooh, my.

Well, accidents happen. I guess a guy like Jobs has to have his obituary sorted out way before he dies, so I’m not sure this is a sign that’s he’s going to die soon or something. I heard about the cancer too, but as you said, there were reports that he was recovering well.

It just looks like a silly accident, to me.

A Big Accident if you ask me ! Do you imagine saying stuff like that.

Yeah, I hope so. I think I wouldn’t be as curious if it was someone other than Jobs. It’s just he looked so skinny in June at that conference that I was wondering what was up.

He did look very skinny,

I haven’t seen him in a while so…

I don’t know. I believe he confirmed that he did have cancer but that it wasn’t life-threatening. Then again, some Apple reps said that he just underwent surgery and had “digestive problems”. It’s hard to know what the truth is. It seems no one wants Apple’s stock to drop.

People have been reporting for a while he hasn’t looked well, but he’s claimed it’s not a cancer relapse and it’s not deadly, but is he in denial himself? Does he not want people to worry?

So, he’s not dead, right? Darnit. Freak me out like that why don’t you…

“Say what?!” was my immediate reaction when I read the first sentence of that news article on the Upcoming Pixar page! I’d say it was just a mistake as well, but what a fright! :open_mouth:

Wow. Awkward! I havent seen in in awhile so i cant say how he looks. I think though if he knew something he’d least be training someone to take his place. And I’m sure that would get out somehow.

Gawker had a story about this the other day. It was a macabre mistake but you know all big media organisations have already written obituaries for many famous people. It’s the way the business works. Of course releasing them early is quite unfortunate and silly… :unamused:
