Or maybe the other copy has a top-secret Cars 2 trailer on it.
Now I can’t decide which I’d rather see!
Ever since the release I’ve still been anxiously awaiting it. Any day now… Come On!
Anyway, I personally have been hoping for another round of animated bloopers for a long time coming. And while I do agree that it will eventually become repetitive, it can be done more than 3 times before then, and knowing Pixar, it will be many more times.
I remember that a few months ago Lee was tweeted during a Q&A, and he said he would get fired if he gave an answer. So I guess we’ll just have to wait and see.
I find it very unlikely that they would lock up a trailer for part of the run. Trailers aren’t a huge draw for any movie. Not for the casual audience. and Ive never heard of that being done. But bloopers or something extra at the end would get people to see it again, or people haven’t yet.
I think we’ll have to wait til Rap, er I mean Tangled for that teaser.
As for what I would prefer, well I do miss seeing the next pixar teaser with every new Pixar movie, but that tradition has already been broken, and we can rest assured it’ll be online around or even before it hits theaters, so I would easily go with bloopers over the teaser, as those wont be online for quite some time. unless maybe they decided to throw it up on i tunes or something. That’d be cool, and I’d gladly pay for it if I had to.
To be honest it sounds more like a DVD extra / bonus to me than a Cinema bonus. Kind of like how Lord of the Rings came out extended.
I wouldn’t mind some bloopers as a DVD extra but I feel they could ruin the over all “closing” sensation of the film.
I don’t see how they would be that out of place after the montage. they could even stick it further into the credits if they want.
I think that [spoil]he did TRY to dance with her in the movie, but Woody pulled her away to keep going, making Buzz think that he liked Jessie too. “The cowboy!”[/spoil]

The point of that ending was to draw it all in to a nice little happy ending. Bloopers would make the ending seem more silly then they wanted it. Don’t forget of all the people in the world this is most emotional for Toy Story 3, it’s almost like it’s their child that has grown up and moved on. I don’t think Bloopers are appropriate in these credits.
I feel like they already lightened the mood though with the montage. I don’t think it would appropriate to go directly into them like TS2, but the after the montage we just got done seeing Jessie and buzz dancing, and some other stuff just for the fun of it.
I don’t want them to put in bloopers.
Actually, I think the bloopers were my favorite part of 2, but they seem unnecessary for 3.
I loved the montage, and it more than made up for the lack of bloopers, and any blooper with Lotso in it would seem very very wrong.
It’d be really cool if they added bloopers. I love them from ABL TS2 and MI. But I agree with Reaper052 though, that any blooper with Lotso would seem very wrong.
couldn’t be any more wrong than the Hopper bloopers in a bugs life. its hilarious to see villains being messed around with in petty ways.
Yeah, but Hopper could be comical himself. His scenes with Molt were genuinely funny. Lotso [spoil]seems to heartless for that. He is just about the most evil animated villain I can think of (except maybe Frollo from Hunchback), seeing him out of character would ruin that for me.[/spoil]
And if they made a blooper out of [spoil]the incinerator[/spoil], then I just might cry. I hope PIXAR has more class then that.
I know that a trailer would be released online and bloopers wouldn’t (at least not for quite a while), but what I meant is that I don’t know which one I would rather have released first. I definitely still would like bloopers; they (as it’s been said) would make for a great excuse for another viewing.
As for an [spoil]incinerator[/spoil] blooper, when Pixar did bloopers in the past, I don’t think they ever did the climaxes, and TS3’s climax is undoubtedly one of, if not the, most emotional climaxes, so I wouldn’t worry.
They close is so beautifully and emotionally, it just doesn’t seem right to ruin that with the idea like it’s all just actors who mess up all the time. Now, if it was AFTER the montage, that’d be fine, cuz the mood is seriously lightened by that time. Although, I’m sure they could pull off the bloopers to where it doesn’t ruin the movie. I know they haven’t done it in awhile, but since it’s the sequel to TS2 which did have it, why not?

Does the bird in A Bugs Life count? They made it as if it were a malfunctioning animatronic.
Yeah, I thought of that, but I personally consider the failure of the plan involving the fake bird to be the climax.
Now, if it was AFTER the montage, that’d be fine, cuz the mood is seriously lightened by that time.
This is how I always imagined, and hoped, it would be. If it replaced the montage, I would probably hate it, but that wouldn’t even make sense unless there were more bloopers than normal considering that the only evidence that we have for bloopers in the first place is a larger file size.
Yeeeeeeeeeeaaaahhhhhhh…
I guess we can assume that this is false?

Sadly. And there might not be dvd bloopers, so maybe soembody should lock this.
Grrr… I made sure to stay 'till the end on a later Toy Story 3 showing, only to find the next movie was starting. Why no bloopers? Better yet, why would they promise them if we don’t have anything yet (unless they planned to recycle some of the other Toy Story shorts)?
I don’t think there’s a need to lock this…but yeah, I saw TS3 Saturday and nothing…
