Really cool if true. Though kinda lame that it wont be attached to it from the get go, but I’ll be seeing it 2 more times anyway so Im sure I’ll be able to see it if it turns up.
I was wondering if they would go back to the bloopers for TS3. Though it is lame if they aren’t attached at first! I’ll probably end up going back, so I’ll see them regardless.
[spoil]Yeah, not really bloopers, more of epilouges for the characters. Still better this way, since it’s the end.[/spoil] However, I think bloopers might ruin the overall feel of the film. Plus, we still got some laughs with what we were given. Although I’m still very curious (3D and IMAX are next on the list).
Well they can always change the credits if they want to put bloopers in later. And putting bloopers in later is a way to draw people in after the initial ‘surge’. Not that I’m saying this movie needs bloopers. But I guess I’ll judge that when I see it today
Yeah, kind of sucks for the impatient that the bloopers won’t be added until later, but it makes sense! They did the same thing with “Toy Story 2” - the gag real in that one wasn’t shown upon initial release, either.
I like the sound of Pixar adding bloopers to Toy Story 3 at a later date- certainly a good excuse to see the film more than once! And I’m guessing the bloopers will be added to the release worldwide? I wonder whether there’ll be a delay everywhere between the original release and the addition of the bloopers.
I’m a bit lukewarm about this. I mean, I loved the outtakes while they lasted, but I think that Pixar was right to pull them when they did. By Monsters, Inc, they’d simply run their course - there are only so many pranks, pratfalls, mumbled or forgotten lines and technical equipment collisions you can have before it starts to become repetitive, and besides, they do kind of undermine of “reality” of the film you’ve just seen.
I’ll withhold my judgement until I’ve actually seen them (assuming they exist, of course). I’m just not keen on this becoming a regular thing for Pixar again.
