How’d you post here? (Sorry, but now I’m even more confused!)
I too was confused about my ability to
post here and not anywhere else.
I discovered that when I use Microsoft Internet Explorer that it never
signs me out and always lets me post. Weird.
The bad part is, when I’m on MIE, I can’t view any images
such as avatars and sigs. I can’t win either way.

I wonder why it’s doing that! - when you say it won’t let you, what happens?
What browser are you using?
I was messing around with the permissions on the files last night,
but that would have affected everyone because it was actual FTP file permissions, not forum ones! (LOL if anyone
got a FORBIDDEN!!!11!! error message last night trying to access any of the boards that was me, sorry, I set the
permissions to zero and even locked MYSELF out, which was, by the way, genius), so maybe try again with your
regular browser now and see if that was the deal?
Re: icons not showing in IE, I’m really not sure what
that’s about – do you use a firewall?
It appears to be working now.
That must’ve been the problem.
But when it wouldn’t let me post, I’d click the Post Reply button and it
would send me back to the main forum page. And most of the time, it would also sign me
out.

Common connection here - I’ve noticed
too if you use a dial up connection and then open the site in IE that most of the pictures don’t appear. Doncha
love technology???
