Yes, any of the Bonds would work. I just think Sean Connery would add a lot more of meaning to it, but I don’t think they can’t talk him out of his retirement.
I’m not really a fan of Jack Black, and that might partly be because of the fact that I do associate him heavily with Dreamworks. He just seems like one of those actors employed by animation companies to voice characters simply because he’s well known and so can be part of an ‘all-star cast’, as is often boasted. But then again, if Pixar consider his voice to be the perfect fit for one of their Cars 2 characters, so be it.
Still, as others have said, Wikipedia is not the most reliable of sources so we’ll probably have to wait and see about this one.
I’m not that fond of Jack Black either, but it’s more because I don’t like his kind of humor that much (but he’s done a couple of movies that are worth of being watched).
And I think we can’t associate an actor with a company, because they can switch in any moment. Think in Reese Witherspoon, for instance, or in Kristen Schaal, who did appear in Shrek 4 and also in TS3.

The cast and stuff keeps changing. No one knows (except for the obvious characters) who is going to be in Cars 2.

Are you talking about the Pixar Wiki? One example is that before TS3 the page said Elissa Knight was voiceing a doll called Lil and Lou Romano was voiceing a doll called Phil. And obviously that wasn’t in the movie. I don’t really trust Pixar wiki that much when it comes to upcoming films
