Thank you for the information, PixarVixen. I will also look into it when a more detailed
description of this job’s requirements are released.
Unfortunately, I have spent all of my years
fiddling and dealing with the lives of Windows computers, not
Macs. Too bad – experience with MacIntoshs could have
come in handy right about now. ![]()
I would say yea, but computers isn’t really my thing.
The only thing I can do with computers is turn it off and on, type, click, and web surf. But nice post PV.
Complete
ditto, TSS. High five! ![]()
I may be a third year
Computer Science Masters Degree Student, but I might as well join you in that high-five. While Pixar use Apple
and Linux, I’ve used Windows. While they code in C and C++, my programming has been almost exclusively coding in
Java. Tack on the 6,000 miles between me and Pixar, and I think it’s safe to say my chances of employment there
is approximately a googolplex to one. Oh well.
arg , i could’ve
gotten my mom to do that , but she only know how to work with windows !
she’s even taken parts out of a
computer and put the pieces into another computer . she’s a whiz at all of that stuff .
Hmm,
while I intend to pick up a MacBook Pro specifically so I can learn more about Macs, I’ve got my eye on another
job opening. Which is a complete long-shot, but I won’t have it said that I didn’t try. ![]()
PixarVixen, thanks for posting about this. I’m afraid
that our recruiting department will not be posting the job description because of the temporary nature of the
position. So I’m posting it below.
Please keep in mind that this is a full-time temporary position for a
six-month gig with the possibility of conversion to full-time permanent.
If you’d like to apply, please
