Who was Joe Ranft’s best character?

After the John Ratzenberger poll, I thought it would be nice to dedicate a thread/poll
to Joe Ranft.
We miss you, Joe.
As for the poll, Heimlich was without a doubt my favorite of his
characters.

Wheezy. Wheezy are Heimlich are great.
I think Heimlich is gonna win ! Wheezy is also a great
character, but Heimlich is a lot funnier.
I loved Wheezy, but all of them are really funny characters.

Heimlich = love. Though I thought Red was adorable too …
Heimlich was always a favorite character of mine as a kid, and still is now.
Did anyone know how he passed away? A disease or accident?

Veered off into the ocean, if I remember correctly. Tragic … and ironic since he was working on ‘Cars’ at
the time …
He guys, call me wierd, but I get this feeling that Joe is watching us post about him in
heaven if ya know what I mean.

I love his ability to change his voice completely- from Heimlich, to Wheezy, to
Jacques … too cool. 
Hey, i never knew Joe
Ranft in person or even know much about him, but when i found out ONE YEAR LATER that he tragically died, it hit
me as though i was his best friend. From all the things peeps say about him, he sounds like an awesome
dude

He was a Friend to us by what he’s done, he’s was a friend of mine because we shared the same passion.
Your all friends to me because we are all here enjoying the same stuff.
From all I’ve seen on the different
Pixar DVD features, Joe Ranft was a wonderful person. He just seemed really friendly, and fun to be around.
It’s good to know that his work will always live on. Rest in peace, Joe Ranft. You made a lot of people
smile.

And as for the poll - I just had to vote for Wheezy. I like all of his
characters, but that little penguin’s probably my favorite.
