Would you rather have John Carter of Mars be a disney film or a pixar film?

Can you beleive this! Andrew Stanton is going to work for disney! He was my favorite pixarian. The reason he made John Carter of mars a disney film was because Pixar movies are for everyone. What about the Incredibles! And isn’t Disney suppose to be known to make kid freindly films. It seems like the future of pixar isn’t what it use to be. All starting with the Cars 2 stuff, and the two films a year thing. :cry:

With Lasseter as head of both Walt Disney Animation and Pixar crossovers by directors were bound to happen.
Lasseter decides what project gets assigned to which Studio. e also appoints a suitable director to the projects.

Lasseter admitted in an Article in this Empire that there is a difference between what will be given to each studio. In its history Pixar have never taken or used the literature or characters created by someone else, they have continued to create thier own stories and own worlds without taking the works of Hans Christian Anderson, Victor Hugo or Kipling like Walt Disney Studios continue to do.

Here Lasseter has obviously thought that Andrew Stanton is the man for the Job, and alongside the fact John Carter of Mars comes from a character in Edgar Rice Burroughs’s Barsoom series, this could explain why Lasster assigned Stanton to Walt Disney until its release.
