John Lasseter on Walk Of Fame

Should John Lasseter have a star on Hollywood’s Walk Of Fame?

  • Yes, he totally deserves one!
  • Not really, he doesn’t need one

As mentioned by PadawanLinea on the Shrek Forever After thread under Other Animation, it gave me an idea to start a poll.
That is, if John hasn’t already got a star. I’m not too sure. If anyone knows, please point me in the right direction!
But anyways, just in case he doesn’t I think he should definately have one. The man behind the first computer-animated film who has recieved countless Lifetime Achievement awards and King of Animation (and also my all-time hero) deserves this kind of honour. Do you agree?

YES!!! He sooo deserves pretty much every award he’s eligible for.

It doesn’t seem like he’s already got one, in which case, he really does deserve to be on there! I’m surprised he already isn’t, to be honest.

That guy has done so much, he really does deserve a star.

I think he made the FreeBSD logo…

Well, they gave ESPN’s Chris Berman an star, so anything’s possible! :stuck_out_tongue:

The strange thing about getting a star on the walk of fame is that whoever gets the star has to PAY for it. Usually, a studio or agency pays for it. Of course, people who get a star aren’t chosen at random, but if someone doesn’t fork over the cash, they won’t get a star.

I always thought that was weird.

:open_mouth: OMG! That IS weird, and I don’t like the sound of it. Oh well, if he does ever get a star, I’m sure either Pixar or Disney won’t mind having to spill the dough.

Of course John deserves one! (if he doesnt have one already) They’ve given stars to plenty of people who’ve done a lot less. John’s done a lot for the world of entertainment and animation.
