Jr. le Fuzzy

You

might have your own little Emile in the future, Mitch!

JesusFreak - I should hope

not! (snigger) :stuck_out_tongue:

That pic just makes me wanna buy my own…I just might do

that this summer! Yay for inspiration!

Mitch: Well,

not really kiss him. Although it could be an option. I have a puppy that is just as cute as your little critter.

i kiss him all the time. So a littel kiss-kiss to your rat seems like a pleasable idea.

Mitch- Aww, that’s a really good photo of him! He looks as

though he’s peering out of his cage, wondering what all the excitement is.

JesusFreak - Heheh – well,

I’m sure you won’t be disappointed if you do purchase one. They really are wonderful little critters to spend a

couple of years with (or more).

The Star Swordsman - Haha – yeah, I’ve

actually heard tell of experts advising owners not to kiss their “pocket pets”. I don’t really know

what the reason behind that is, but ah heck; I kiss him anyway. (snigger)

I forgot that you had a puppy!

What breed is he again?

lizardgirl - Heheh – well, thank you! It only took

me two billions years to capture the dang photo, since the rascal was darting back and forth at a hundred miles

per hour. (snigger) :stuck_out_tongue:

Ah, yes. Kissing your pets is alright. Even if it is your little rat, it is still

family.

I won’t answer the last question as it might go off-topic.

Gosh, Mitch. I probably missed this thread because of my illness last month.

Kirby is a cutie patooty! ;-p How’s the little fuzzball doing?

~~=oP

PV - Haha – thanks, PV!

Kirby is a…um… Well, he’s a fuzzy little rascal, I’ll tell ya’ that! He has the funniest personality of any rat I’ve ever owned. He’s curious, but he’s also afraid of a fair share of noises and the like; he likes to explore, but won’t go overboard. It takes him a while to get used to his surroundings, even if he’s had a chance to explore them before-hand. However, once he gets used to a particular area he’ll begin to jump around and exhibit that typical “ratty” nature.
Intelligence-wise, he’s pretty smart and seems to have the ability to learn tricks in a matter of two days or less.
Health-wise, the little nut is top-notch…with the exception of a possible ear mite infection that will have to be eradicated. The poor fuzzball keeps tilting his head and falling over. Heh…

Hopefully, Kirby will chill out and get more used to the place. I kinda wish he would calm down a little more, as I’m already stressed out by a number of other things that I have to attend to. I have seriously been working myself so hard this summer that I am in desperate need of a vacation… But, ah heck. Now I’m rambling! (snigger)

Thanks for asking!

– Mitch

Glad to here Kirby is doing alright.

Kirby sounds really funny, and like he has quite a personality. I would love to see pics of him, he sounds so cute.

I am going to take pictures of the little nut later on today, if possible. He’s rather camera-shy when it comes to taking a good shot of him, though he wil come right up and give the camera phone itself a little sniff from time to time.

Kirby is a character, that’s for sure. I have never, in my entire life, owned a rat that taste-tested anything and everything so much. He nibbles on fingers; lips; socks; tissues; clothes; food (of course); everything! :stuck_out_tongue:

– Mitch

Aww. He sounds so cute. Almost wants me to go and buy a rat.

rachel - Haha. Yeah, I can guess what you would name him if you got one, too.

Kirby - Pearing Out of Le Cage:

Kirby Doing His “Spin” Trick:

s119.photobucket.com/albums/o141 … 3ac3de.flv

He learned how to spin around in a circle in approxiamately two days, which is a record as far as my rats and their ingenious talents/abilities/wit goes.

– Mitch

Oh man, is that one cool rat.

Aww, he’s sooo cute! <img src=“{SMILIES_PATH}/love2.gif” alt=“:loves:” title="In

Love" />

He is just so adorable! Look at his cute, little face! Ha-ha. That video was really funny. He is a very smart rat. He waited a second to do the trick - that’s so cute.

That-a boy, Kirby!

PS I would most likely name my rat “Remy”.

Heheh. Thank you for the comments, guys. I have to admit: He is really cute.

rachel - Believe me, he was being very obedient when he did his trick in that one instance. Normally, he’s rather stubborn and unrelenting (although, lately, he has started to cooperate just a smidge – heh).

Seriously? I would have thought for sure that you would name him ‘Linguini’.

– Mitch

Well, I’m sure he would be more willing to do the tricks if you had some tasty treats on hand. That’s the way it always is with animals. Are you going to teach him any other tricks?

Why would I name him Linguini? Linguini is a human, and Remy is a rat, Mitch. :unamused:

j/k

Oh yeah, I always use a tasty treat as “bait” for the little suckers. Every rat I’ve owned seems to like these petite cereal crunchies my mom purchases from the store; heck, even my neighbor’s cat likes them. It must be the honey flavor or something… :unamused: (snigger)

As with several of my other rats, I will probably teach him how to tip over a cup, walk across a broom, come when called, and do a high-five. He’s already mastered the basics, which are “Up” and “Spin”. I’m going to teach him the “High-five” command next. Hopefully, he’ll get the hang of that stunt as fast as he learned the “Spin” feat.

– Mitch

P.S. Name him “Linguiremy” then! :stuck_out_tongue: (snigger)
