I’ve heard that Ken has a cameo as a toy aboard the Axiom. Anyone have any shots of this?
I don’t even think they had any toys on the Axiom. I’ll try to look for him when I see the movie again; perhaps he’s in a place with a lot of random junk (like the air-lock). I doubt he’s here though, because they probably didn’t come up with Ken’s character until way after Wall-E.
What I was told was he was in a daycare or something like that. I’ve only seen wall-e once so im not sure, I also dont know if its the same exact ken doll or not.
I was surprised to hear about this myself. I don’t see how Ken could fit anywhere in Wall-E, but you know how good Pixar is with in-jokes. Apparently the cameo in question is one of the first scenes inside the Axiom where he’s said to be a toy that appears in the daycare during the “A is for Axiom, your home sweet home…” part.
Thats what I heard. I looked, but i was just looking at a youtube video so i couldve missed it.
I was watching that scene just now and there were clearly no toys in the daycare, so I would have to think that Ken being in the movie isn’t true. The mat underneath the babies though does look like it has the same star pattern as Andy’s wallpaper in Toy Story 2, but that’s probably just for the whole space theme of the film.
