Kingdom Hearts

Same as me^^ I remember beating Kingdom Hearts and soon after starting a new game, which I beat soon after. My Memory Card was so full of Kingdom Hearts slots. But than I deleted most of them.

Haha, I bet you had beat the game a second time a LOT faster than you did the first time. Happens to me with reading books over again. Funny how that happens

I’m not a video game person, but I have watched my brother play both games through and I have to admit that the storyline is fascinating. The dialogue could be better written and the animation in the cut scenes isn’t particularly mind blowing, but I really love the concept of it. I can say nothing about the gameplay, but the story of Kingdom Hearts II seems to be more involving to me (particularly the non-Disney stuff). I would have liked to see more of Roxas; he seemed to be the character going through the most conflict. Sora, not so much this time around.

Actually, for the most part, RPGs can have different experiences each time you play.
In terms of Kingdom Hearts…I see attacks I didn’t see before. Take Trickmaster in Wonderland. He didn’t “spin the table” the first time I fought him. So doing the game again offers up different experiences.

Actually one of the above new games focuses on Roxas more (326/2). I too wanted a bit more on him. I’ve tried experimenting to see if Roxas has skills unique that Sora doesn’t.

I love the Kingdom Hearts franchise as it’s one of my favorite series along with Medal Gear.

Unfortunately KH has some bad voice acting and KH2 has really bad voice acting and music. KH2 has long periods of time with no music but just bad sound effects and voice acting (quite frankly my dear, it’s awkward).

I want Robing Williams as Genie, Eddie Murphy as Mushu, Nathan Lane as Timon, Matthew Broderick as Simba, Johnny Depp as Jack Sparrow, Orlando Bloom as Will Turner, Geoffrey Rush as Barbossa, and Keira Knightley as Elizibeth Swann.

The Pirates had the worst of all voices and completely took me out of that world and not putting them in there because they’re stars just seems cheap. Also, Dr. Finkelstein could’ve used a better replacement as his voice was NOTHING like the original.

Props to the guy to replaced John Fielder as Piglet.

The bad voices sucked me out of the worlds I’m supposed to be sucked into, bad move Disney. Maybe they’ll remake the games with better graphics and GOOD voice actors (the real ones).

For a person who likes the franchiese you seem to really bash a portion of it.

^The games are fun, the stories are a dream come true, but the voice acting is like a bullet hole in the middle of your TV screen (very distracting).

Sound department is my only gripe

I’ve only played the first Kingdom Hearts and I never saw the special ending because of a mistake I made.

What’s KH2 like? Is it like the first or is it overrun with Final Fantasy people?

Well, yes and no, You still have to fight Heartless and you visit some worlds from the first but they look different now and you visit new worlds. Then you have new foes: The Nobodies and Organization XIII.
Kingdom Hearts II is not overrun with Final Famtasy characters but there are some more.

I am awful at playing KH. It’s official haha. I got the second game for Christmas, but I haven’t attempted it yet. I’m still on the first.

I always watch my best friend play. I’ve basically gone through the whole second game with her, but just as a viewer. Sometimes she let me play, but she knows I’m bad at it haha.

Technically there already are 3 KH games. I don’t think CoM was released in North America, but I could be wrong. The whole ordeal confuses me haha.

About KH2-I love the Organization. They’re my favorite part of the game.

I just looked, it was released in North America.

And about being a horrible player: don’t worry, sooner or later you will be a good player

But I think there more than just three Kingdom Hearts games, if you count the FMs which are just the “normal” KHs with some new features…

Ohhkay. I didn’t know it was released in NA. It’s in Japanese though, right?

I have no idea whats going on anymore haha.

Let me help out

Note: Final Mix games are Extended Cuts of the originals that contain characters, levels , items, and missions not in any American Releases, as wells as additional story tying games together. Also, the Chain of Memories game for the PS2 is the same as the GBA version, just redone in awesome 3D graphics to match the style of the other games.

Hope that helps!

Ahh thank yooou. XD That helps a lot.

Actually the 3-D COS version contains new scenes and events not featured in the original COS. And although I have not heard if you can fight Zexion in this version of COS, you CAN fight him (and ALL the other Organization members), in a special battle ground in KH2 Final Mix. So this version of COS could be considered a Final Mix version of the GBA game as well.

I was never much of a gamer until I got KH for Christmas (2006) and went ape over it. I finished KH 2 last summer, and just now revisited the first one and found Aladdin’s secret boss. So there’s really an extra ending?! Why didn’t my FAQ say so? Puppies and bosses, got it.

I’m launching into the fan-favorite Final Fantasy series, with FF X on the way. Sounds like fun, according to Gamespot, Amazon, and the rest of the WWW. Witch of Night, expect my PM!

Didn’t mean to double post but I need to bump the thread.

Hey, I just found all the Dalmation puppies, sealed my last world (Winnie the Pooh), and completed the Hades Cup. Where’s my secret video?! Do I need to complete the Hades Cup by myself – not with Donald and Goofy? Trinities, secret boses, extra Cups, anything?

I’m losing it!

~Sarah

It’s enough to complete the Hades-Cup with Donald and Goofy. You will see the secret video after you beat the final boss. Then [spoil]Soa and his friends go down a long way. They meet Pluto and run after him[/spoil] and then the secret ending appears. But better make sure to check if you really have completed all the quest for the secret ending (all Dalmations, seal all worlds and complete the Hades Cup).

When I finished the game the first time (without puppies or cup) I got [spoil]the music video ending, plus Sora, Donald and Goofy running toward a castle. Nice, happy vid.[/spoil] Is that the secret ending because I couldn’t possibly have gotten it yet! I’ll go exploring and make sure I’ve sealed all the worlds though.

~Sarah

Well, the secene with [spoil]Sora and Co. running down the path[/spoil] is not the secret ending. It just gives you clue for the sequel.
