Kingdom Hearts

Have anybody played this game before? I just picked it up along with a new ps2 system and i just started. I always wanted to play this game and couln’t until now. I know there’s a game for gameboy advance and a sequel but right now i want to work on the first one before i start working on the sequel.

Does anybody have any tips for this game?

Well, I have seen my cousin payed Kingdom Hearts before. I really love idea of tying Disney and Jap characters in to one game. I am hoping to see some Pixar characters in the third installment of KH.

Off-topic: If it makes you happy, I’m including at leat two Pixar based worlds in my KIngdom Hearts Fanfic

I have a few tips for you, SheriffChick:

1st Complete all the worlds, complete the Hades-Cup (you can do it very late in the game) and find all of the 99 Dalmatian puppies and you can see a nice secret ending after you completed the game.

2nd (very late in the game) After you have rescued Kairi, you can fight against four secret bosses:
Sephiroth (at Olympus Coliseum)
That Ice Titan from Hercules (at Olympus Coliseum)
Kurt Zisa (Agrabah; you have to fly with the magic Carpet to The Cave Of Wonders)
Phantom (Never Land; talk to Tinker Bell with Peter Pan in your team)

3rd Fight as often as possilbe, it’s helpful to have a high level for later in the game, for example when Donald and Goofy leave you and you have to fight with a wooden sword and The Beast. And the Heartless drop items, which you could use for synthesize.

4th Some moogles can synthesize some items for you later in the game. When they have synthesized every item at least once you can get Sora’s strongest weapon: Ultima

Okay, that’s it (for now). Those were just random but I’m pretty sure they are all right since I have completed that game 100 times.

Kingdom Hearts is absolutely my all-time favourite game. The sequel is good as well, but they made the fighting system easier, which I didn’t like, because it took the challenge out for me.

My tips would be to make sure you do everything – save all the dalmations, get all the trinities – because you unlock a secret ending if you do. (Plus, you get such a feeling of accomplishment! :-p ) It keeps track of the number you’ve done in your journal, so you’ll know if you’ve got them all. And I agree with Witch of Night, try to level up as much as you can, you’ll need it! I think, the first time around, I wound up going back to the Collesium to get more fighting in because I couldn’t get past a boss!

It’s a really fun game. The worlds are fantastic, the story is terrific, and it’s great getting to see your favourite Disney and Final Fantasy characters all together!

Yes, but you don’t need to get all of the Trinities, but you can if you want

You are absolutely right. It’s really great to see characters of two very differents things together. I mean Disney is American and Final Fantasy Japanese and together they make one great story.
Besides, without KH, I would have never found those two things I love the most (besides Pixar and Disney): The Nightmare Before Christmas and the Final Fantasy series.

DOes anyone know if Kingdom Hearts 3 will only be realeased for the PS3 console? Or will there be others?

I’m happy that Disney’s purchase of Pixar allows their characters to be in the game. I wouldn’t be surprised to see a Toy Story world where you shrink into action figures or a The Incredibles world where you help Bob out in Nomanisan Island, as a superhero.
Does anyone have any ideas of what Pixar influences could show up in KH3?

Well, this is a common rumor that I see all over KH3 fansites. But from what I understand, the KH team dresses up in Super Suit outfits and help the Incredibles battle Syndrome and his minions, both on Nomanisan and on Metroville.

Oooh, I love Kingdom Hearts!
Hmm I don’t think I have many tips that people here haven’t already said… but I think it’s a fairly easy game to figure out-- just explore everything and you’ll get through it in no time.

I must agree, the 2nd one is not as good. I find the new fighting exciting but it does make it a lot easier to win… it takes less button smashing in comparison to the first one. I also didn’t like the story as much… it gets a little long and the worlds aren’t as exciting just because all of them follow the plot to the movies whereas in the first it is more kind of loosely based off of it.

I dont play Kingdom Hearts but my best friend has both versions and I’ve seen her play. She really likes them. She tells me when she’s found Disney things in there I would like, like “Herbie’s a summon” or “You get to go to Agrabah in this one” or whatever. Plus she also tells me what kind of worlds there are…

Ahh I’m addicted to KH now. My friend kept talking about how much she loves Sora, Roxas and Axel, so I became curious. She managed to convince me to start playing the games haha. I love to watch her play. She’s beat the second game like five times now haha. She says it’s much easier than the first [apparently she hasn’t even beat the first game haha].

I haven’t played the second game yet [well if you count my friend throwing the controller at me and telling me to try to beat Sephiroth as playing then…I guess I have XD] but I’ve seen a lot of it. I like the idea of it. I love the Organization. Not sure why. Guess I have a thing for bad guys? XD

There is one tip I know for the game, but I’m not sure which part it is exactly so it might not help much. When you’re battling Xemnas there is a cheat that helps you attack him. I’ll get back to you on that. XD

I absolutely love this game, even though Sora annoys me from time to time. :stuck_out_tongue: The storyline is just awesome and they juggle all of the Disney worlds very beautifully and adapt them well to relate to the game. I’m looking forward to the third.

One tip I can give- don’t play the second on easy mode because though it makes things fly by and makes you feel like a lord and master of the game … it only ends in tears because you need to play standard mode to access a certain clip and the transition from easy to standard is frustrating and painful, lol!

Awwh, I love Sora. He’s so cute haha.

Ah jeeze. I’m scared to play the second game now haha.

folds arms Kingdom Hearts master right har ^- KH2 as well ^^ All items, optional quests, bosses, and what not

If your ever stuck on a part of the game, second it seems, go ahead and put the question down on here and I’ll add some playing tips ^^ Already giving some to a friend who recently beat the first one with my coaching and is on the second ^^

Speaking of which, second ROCKS allot more than the first, especially the Gummi Ship.

But when you finish your gonna be slightly mad at the Japanese for what THEY got ^_-

Does anyone knw when KH3 wil be released? I am kinda getting excited over that game.

Your gonna hate this FONY…

There is NO KH3…at least yet…
HOWEVER…there ARE 3 games of Kingdom Hearts coming out VERY SOON…

WHY HAVEN"T US PS2 GAMERS KNOW ABOUT THIS?..Because all three…WILL NOT BE ON PS2!

That’s right! One will be on the DS, one will be for the Playstation Portable , and one…for a mobile phone…
That’s right people…if you want more on Kingdom Hearts ya gotta get two more systems and be playly with your phone.

Don’t believe me?
Do a search (but not if you want spoilers):
Kingdom Hearts: Coded (Mobile Phone) (Seems to basically be Kingdom Hearts 1 for your phone…or is it?)
Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep (Portable) (The BIG ONE…talling one of the men seen in KH2’s Secret Video)
Kingdom Hearts: 382/2 (DS) (Tails the first KH2’s playable character’s days that were not included in the game)

folds arms
Add that to the fact that the japanese get Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix which has NEW material, NEW bosses, AND…a REDONE version of Chain of Memories in 3D from the Gameboy game.

Oh how weird huh?

Hey Nexas, I quit playing Kingdom Hearts almost 3 years ago because I got lost in the Tarzan stage (Pathetic, right?), but I wanna continue my game soon.

My question is…After Jane and the gorillas are reunited, where do I go to finish the stage? I went all the way back to the treehouse expecting a villain to attack, but nothing happened, so I gave up.

~~=oP

Nexas: :open_mouth:

Even though I’m angry at that, I’m also glad. I just played this game called Bully recently, and it got me addicted and pissed, because I found I wasted hours on nothing. So … though it would be nice to play new KH games … I wouldn’t want to waste time or money on it. :stuck_out_tongue:

PIXAR VIXIN

Ah. That part can easily confuse first time players.
Lets see after the reuinting…If I recall this occurs when you return to the tent AFTER you fight to get the gorillas back right? Lets see,
By this time head to the bamboo thicket, it’s entrance is north of the camp. There you will fight Sabor, for the final time. After defeating him, head back to the camp and you will learn Jane is captured. Return to the area that leads to the Treehouse (if you run down the path from the treehouse you should enter an area that’s…well…kinda…like apple shaped and has a large tree in the middle kind of). Fight there to free Jane.
Then head back to the campsite, then past the bamboo thicket is a cliff like scene and THERE is the final battle (After the battle you get the most useful magic in the game that should make things easier ^_^)

Hope the above helps. You said once Jane isunited with the gorillas so I kinda had to improvise what you meanht specifically

FONY
Well KH is a pretty good game with two great giants coming together afterall ^^ Stupid what they did though with the next three --

There was a time two summers ago where my friend and I were completely obsessed with this game. We would play it non-stop, all day long, while chatting back and forth online about what stage we were at. Haha, I laugh thinking about what nerds we were that summer. But whatever. It was fun
