Shazam! It never fails. I’m half asleep watching TV and I see something about Pixar. This time it’s Lasseter Family Winery in Napa Valley. I’ll be looking for the TV show on Youtube. (crosses fingers) So in this thirty minute TV show in Japan, they show Clos Pegase Winery, Rubicon Estate, and finally Lasseter Family Winery. lasseterfamilywinery.com/
Nancy Lasseter talks about her fiftieth birthday gift to JL. JL philosophies about wine and there is his train set collection at the winery. The reporter who went to all three wineries plugs-in Toy Story 3, a little. I hope somebody recorded this show by tomorrow morning. I’m going to bed.
Ooooh! I was just thinking if I should be posting videos of people drinking wine. The Lasseters were NOT drinking any wine in the ‘Another Sky’ TV show here in Japan. The Japanese reporter, commentators, and guest speakers were sipping wine though. Mods and up, I need your help here.
I’m still looking for the TV show on Youtube, but If I can’t post a link, I do have this website of the wine show. Scroll down the page, right side. ntv.co.jp/anothersky/
Yep, both he and I live in the Wine Country in Cali, and it’s only fittingn that a man with money like him can start up his own family vineyard .I really like the website.
I found ‘another sky-Napa Valley’ TV show with John and Nancy Lasseter. It was shown March 5, 2010, 11 pm while I was half asleep. You know, they could have titled this show a bit better for us Pixar fans in Japan. You feel me.
Scroll down a little. Go to 17:10-22:50. Ignore the rest. likeit430.blog43.fc2.com/blog-entry-2404.html

Sonoma Lasseter Love, Spring 2007 front page. Scroll down. What a cute couple. I had to share this find because they were holding hands in the TV show. shopsonoma.net/home.html?bpid=422
The latest Inside the Magic podcast had a 35 minute presentation by John and his wife from the California Adventure Food and Wine Festival. insidethemagic.net/
Huh. I wanna say I remember reading somewhere they had a winery but now I’m not so sure. Its certainly good to know, to say the least. And I learned something today.
Lasseter Family Winery is actually in Sonoma Valley, which is a neighbor to the much more well known Napa Valley. Both valley’s number one agriculture product is Wine Grapes, and both are big tourist destinations because of wine.
It may not seem like a big deal, but I must point it out because there is a bit of a small rivalry between the two valleys. And many in Sonoma Valley take pride in the fact that Lasseter’s winery is in Sonoma’s valley, not Napa’s.
