I just saw him talking during a section about the American Railroads. I can’t remember what he said, but it was something like “Technology connects us all.”
Just thought that I’d share. It was completely unexpected, but cool. I sadly don’t have any clips of him talking, and I don’t think that he’s on the American: The Story of Us website. 
Did you say this was on the History Channel? I have cable back in Sing… argh…!

How cool! I wish I knew he’d be on. My parents have been watching that series, but wouldnt know John Lasseter if they saw him, so they wouldnt have been able to tell me he was on.
That is so something John Lasseter would say! It’s true though, technology is what first brought people together. I did a report about technology in middle school, and technology is anything that improves human life. So the technology of creating fire brought the first humans together, so on so forth. Very true quote.
