Which is why i chose not to read it. I knew that people couldn’t take hilighting the spoilers
anymore.

I skimmed
it a bit, admittedly. But I think the movie’s been long since ruined for me. =P Hopefully just seeing it will
make up for it all, since I’m trying hard to shove all I remember about it out of my mind. ^^
avelinforl32 - Ah – I see. Smart
move…

Hahahaha!! Oh man, I’m laughing so hard… evil grin ![]()
FONY - Eheh – yeah, I’ve taken a stab at attempting to do the same thing
lately: shove it all out of my mind so that I can at least try to be surprised when
I watch the film. Alas!, it ain’t gonna happen. Oh well. That’s the way the cheese wheel rolls… ![]()
You might be alittle surprised mitch by how
incredible it will turn out, but not to the fullest.
Exactly. Although I do know
the whole movie by now, I am at least interested in how it will play out on the screen. There are also many
little gags and hidden surprises that I don’t know about, so I haven’t completely ruined the experience for
myself. ![]()
Just want to strongly reccomend
that you try not to reveal the entire movie before it gets released. Trust me, this experience is more rewarding
than finding out what happens before it is out.
Believe me, I’ve learned my lesson. No more spoiler information for me! No sir-ee! I will still view the
occassional podcast that pops up, but that’s it.
(snigger)
Mitch: I’ve actually been forgetting some of it since I’ve been
focusing more on my original stories. Then when I turn on the TV I see a commercial and get a sudden buzz of
energy and excitement, lol!
I know spoilers are bad but it’s seeing the real thing that I want. After
all, we can’t know exactly every little thing that goes on in the film. (Though I
know you insist you do, lol!
)
That is
great to hear! ![]()
FONY - Haha – the same goes for me! Every time I see a tv spot or the like on the
television set or on the internet…I get this tickling sensation up my spine… ![]()
And you’re exactly
right – it’s the real thing that matters most, and it’s also the thing that I’d rather not know too much
about until the time comes. (snigger)
The Star Swordsman - I whole-heartedly
agree! (laughs) ![]()
Mitch: you can say that again.
![]()
You’re welcome everyone. Sorry if I spoiled it for anyone who didn’t want it
spoiled, but I was dying to tell someone. ![]()
Once again, Mitch and Sharpie, bless
your movie-spoiling black little hearts. ![]()
I think Linguini calling Remy “Little Chef”
may be just about the cutest thing I’ve ever heard.
And I think it shows that Linguini had a fair amount
of respect for Remy, since he could have just called him “rat” or whatever. So, again, awwwwww! ![]()
Which actually reminds me of a question I’ve meant to ask anyone who’s read the novelization - Do the
humans (I guess Linguini in particular, but I would assume people like Colette and Anton Ego could be included)
every learn Remy’s name? I know he can’t speak, but its pretty obvious that Linguini is aware that he can
understand human speech. And since he can read, and is pretty darn dextrous with those paws (
), does he ever
just, I don’t know, write his name down or anything?
Okaaaaay, I’m really super overthinking this,
aren’t I? ![]()
Hey, here’s a fun Latin fact! The word “ego” = the pronoun “I” in
Latin. That’s where we get our word “ego,” since for a person with a big one, its all about
them.
And now I feel like I was slightly productive today. ![]()
I wouldn’t worry too much about it
sharpie. Its called Le Spoiler Thread, so we had plenty of warning. ![]()
sharpie - Oh, don’t worry about it. I was on the verge
of “spilling the beans” on a random thread as well, so I just decided to create a separate thread
devoted solely to spoilers so that I could “let it all out”.
![]()
Cestlavenus - I agree with your first statement in that Linguini seems to
have alot of respect for the little furball. Speculatively speaking, perhaps it could be said that, since
Linguini felt rather degraded in his own right (so much so, in fact, that even a rat could undermine him), he
bestowed upon Remy a touch of appreciation.
And overthinking is something I like! I’ve also wondered
myself whether or not Remy ever reveals his name to the humans. Gusteau (or Remy’s concious rather…) certainly
knows, but I don’t know about Linguini and the other chefs. I guess we’ll just have to wait until the film
itself comes out!
Hey, that’s pretty interesting! Thanks for
sharing. ![]()
Not at all.
[spoil]Linguini never learns Remy’s name as far as I know.[/spoil]
sharpie - Concerning
your spoiler: Perhaps it’s better (and more charming) that way… ![]()
My only concern about this thread- it hit me just now- that … the moderators’ jobs
are to inspect the boards. So maybe you should put them as highlightable, just because I think there are some
mods out there that would prefer the film not to be spoiled for them. Unless they avoided it anyways, but it’s
just a thought. ![]()
FONY-I was a bit concerned
too, but it is a spoiler thread. And it does say read at your own risk. ![]()
Let’s just hope that a
mod doesn’t come along and move it to the Archives. Becuase some of us weirdos (no offense or anything!) who
have looked at the books probably need to get it out of them. That’s why I flipped
when I saw this. ![]()
FONY - I was also rather
worried about that, which is why I attatched a “Read at Your Own Risk” sign to the title of the thread.
The very fact that it’s a spoiler thread connotates what the content of it will be, so I think that this
particular thread is fairly “safe”…for the time being.
Moderators/Administrators - Please feel free to lock, delete, or move this
thread if necessary.
AnnoyingPerson95 - So I’m a “weirdo” now,
huh?
(snigger) I’m just kidding!
