Le Spoiler Thread - Read at Your Own Risk!

Thanks for the

answer sharpie! I’m not sure why, but for some reason that was really bothering

me… :unamused:

I agree! Like I said,

Linguini calling Remy “Little Chef” is super cute!

I just

found out that I definitely won’t have a chance to see the movie in theaters, since I’m standing up in a

friend’s wedding the week after it comes out, and after that I have to study for

two weeks in Greece at the start of July if I want to continue teaching Greek next semester (which

sounds nice, but its all school work, plus Greece in the summer is waaay too hot!)

And my friend who’s getting married? Is from France! Oooooh, the irony! :open_mouth:

… I’ve

just realized that I use this board to complain about how busy I am a lot. Sorry, I’ll back off on

that.

But, I did actually have a point this time :exclamation: , which is

that I hope the mods don’t lock this post down. For those of us who won’t have the chance to see the movie for

several months, being spoiled now is kind of nice. And I do think that the title of the thread gives everyone

who doesn’t want to be spoiled plenty of warning.

That said, I totally respect that running a huge

message board like this is tough, and the mods need to be fair to everyone, so I’m totally cool with whatever

they decide. :sunglasses:

Besides, I already got to see the spoilers! wicked laughter

Cestlavenus - Heheh – oh

yes, it is very charming.

Aw man – that’s too bad. How ironic that your friend is from France,

though! Does she have any pet rats? (snigger)

Does…Does Colette REALLY drive a

motorcycle?? THATS going to be FUNNY.

Domino626 - Yep – she drives a big black one! It’s pretty cool…

A

girl with the spunk and attitude of a guy. Really unique character for her.

Hee. If and when she does get together with Linguini,

I have the feeling she’ll be wearing the pants in that situation.

And if they ever disagree, she

can just get Remy to tug on his hair until he does what she wants! I wish I could do that with guys… :sunglasses:

Yes, yes, I know the spoilers say [spoil]that the hair-pulling trick eventually stops working

on Linguini[/spoil].

Let me enjoy my dorky joke anyway.

How is Colette first introuduced in the movie? I mean, with a speaking role. Since you guys have read the

novel, what does she say when Linguini says he’s honored to work with her? I want some good quotes because of

the main characters, Colette has said the least. And another thing, in the spoilers, it says she got upset that

he changed the recipe that was supposed to be a disaster, why?

I spotted an error in the book. In the beginning, it mentions Emile as being Remy’s older brother. Most of his

bios, however, refer to him as Remy’s “not-so-little” brother. I’m guessing the film doesn’t mention

who’s older, or perhaps the author mistook Emile’s size.

Domino626 - I suppose you’ll just have to find out for yourself

what the answer to those questions are when you go see the movie. Either that, or go to [i]"Le

Spoiler Thread"[/i] in the Ratatouille section of these boards. Some

information about Colette is revealed there…

Ryan - I read somewhere

that Remy is the older brother, so that mystery has already been confirmed. Heheh.

Guess what everybody?

[spoil]Bomb Voyage[/spoil] made a cameo appearance in the movie!

I can tell you

there a lot of hidden stuff in the movie. but all I could really see is the one above.

Okay! I couldn’t take it! i had to read it. Now i am

totally excited! i will be looking for him! oh my! this is wonderful news.

JV - I knew it!!

Thanks for the

“spoiler”, JV. Heheh.

There, now I join the spoiler

crowd with that. I feel so ashamed now.

Aww, that’s okay TSS,

you only read that one, didn’t you? I’m spoiler-free", and I did too! Think of it as a “notice”

so you can look for him! :sunglasses:

Anyway, that is just

soo cool! It made so much sense. Wow! Can’t wait!

Hopefully I’ll see 'em…never seem to catch those things! :stuck_out_tongue:

Yeah, I guess. Thanks I feel better now. And once again, thanks for the heads up

JV> I needed it. Without you, I wouldn’t have known.

I am reviving this film from the dead… Eheheh…

Ok, I couldn’t find anywhere else to put this except here, sooo…badda-bing:

[spoil]You can spot the Pizza Planet truck twice in the film. The well-known sighting is when it rolls along the bridge during the shot where
Skinner pops out of the water/river. Almost everybody knows about this “easter egg”…

The second (or, should I say, first) time you can see it is when Remy is running along the wall with Gusteau’s will in his mouth. Look at the bridge behind him and you’ll see it…[/spoil]

So yeah. :stuck_out_tongue:
