I’ve decided to show all of you some of my animation tests that I have up on my YouTube channel. They’re not all that great, but I’m still improving on some things. I’m self-taught, and I only started just last year.
I’ll tell you what I think. I think you’re well on your way to working as an animator on one of Tim’s stop-motion films. You seem so skilled at it already, at least from my perspective.
I absolutely cannot wait to see more from you, and to see you improve your abilities.
Hey, no problem. I’m a hard-core Burton fan as well. How often do you work on stop-motion? I’m well aware of the labor-intensive process and amount of time the medium requires, but I’m curious. I’d like to see you tackle in making your animations longer in the future.
It all depends on what else I have going on during my day. I normally work on animation after watching or seeing something that inspires me, or gives me ideas on something I could animate. Right now I’ve mostly been working on my drawing skills, but I really want to make an animated short sometime. I’m also looking for a better camera than the one I have now (a $20 webcam ) before I get started on anything like that.
They’re so awesome! I can’t believe you’ve only been doing it for a year. Keep on practising and you will become very good at it, I’m sure. You must have a lot of patience to work with this medium. How long does one of your videos take to create?
My favs are “All You Need Is Love”, and “Self-cleaning room.”
Well, apparently my computer’s ability to watch Youtube videos is on the fritz at the moment … but I added you to my friends list. I’m SeltzerAddict on there, and I’ll watch your videos asap- I just love stop motion- did some of them myself with toys of mine but never got around to completing it.
You absolutely have to have a staggering amount of patience to work in this medium. I’ve knowm that for quite a long time now. LeBatEnRouge has that in spades from what I’ve seen so far, which is why I know she’ll impove upon her work, make it better (not that it isn’t great already) , and evetually become a professional stop-motion animator.
For having only practiced the art of stop-motion for a year or less, your animation projects are quite impressive! I would advise to continue on with the marvelous work so as to improve even further.
