Has anyone head about this? The director from Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs is directing it, no hints of the plots yet.
To my feeling, the people in Hollywood are running out of ideas, do you guys think so?
May I also add, I don’t know what channel or studio, but soon, Monopoly, The Tv Show or movie is coming out!
Cya! gleefan1!
Sounds pretty interesting! I’m very intrigued as to what one of the sources says about it being a ‘mix of live action and animation’. Live action in a Lego movie? But I am pleased to hear that Lego are keeping their eye on this one; that will definitely help improve standards.
I think this could be cool, especially with the directors of Cloudy doing it. Maybe it starts raining LEGOs?
This is one of the few Hollywood toy/board game movie ideas I’m actually looking forward to.
Woulden’t we all get head damage, I’l just stick to food, to many kids on the street picking up lego blocks, theres a big store and you pick up lego blocks like in a sweet shop
Derp I say! Bah, I’m horrendously unamused by this. Why? Because freaking heck, I want a nice Mario movie! I mean, it’s got the characters and all… why is it that all those games and even TOYS which don’t have recognizable characters get movies based on 'em! Spore, Roller Coaster Tycoon, and now Lego… ugh
(and of course I still want a Banjo-Kazooie movie, but there’s an 00.1% chance that will ever happen.)
A Lego movie? Please Usually I don’t judge a film before I see it, but really. Remember when they stuck to adapting books and videogames into movies? Now it’s board games…gleefan1 is right, Hollywood is running out of ideas.
Wow, a Lego movie Big deal. I’m not really interested, but my brothers and one of my sisters would like it. They play on Lego Star Wars all the time and one of my brothers are addicted to the smaller-pieces Lego, so if they find out about an actual Lego movie, they’d certainly be interseted.
Wags finger at Hollywood
“How dare you run out of ideas!”
Cloudy showed that the directors know how to make people laugh…very well, in fact. But it really sank around the third act, and the dramatic aspect was just…terrible. Cloudy showed that the directors could make a truly epic comedy film if given the chance…
A Lego movie? I would much rather see a Hungry Hungry Hippos movie like the one on Robot Chicken, or Chutes & Ladders, or maybe even Slip & Slide! All of those looked like great movies on Robot Chicken. What could be better than Hippos shooting people, officers Chutes & Ladders, and Slip & Sliding your way through a casino?
