As suggested by thedriveintheatre, here’s a thread for us all to share our experiences of life at college or university. Are you having/did you have a good time? Any experiences that stood out in particular for you?
Or, if you’re not at college or university just yet but would like to be in the future, what do you think you’ll apply for and where?
I’ll kick this thread off, seems fitting since I have just finished.
I have loved my time at uni, it really has changed me for the better. I’ve made so many friends that I will have for life, and learnt so much as well.
First year I was going a bit overboard on the whole living away from home thing, drinking far more then I could handle and not doing any work. But I think that year got it all out of my system and then I settled down to work for my last 2 years.
I don’t think there is anything wrong with using your first year to go out a lot and abuse your liver since the workload is light and you have a lot of spare time.
There have been few nights that I would class as stand out nights the details of which I wont bore you with. Work wise my final project would certainly be my proudest moment.
I’m sad to be leaving uni, however I am still going to be living in the same city with one of the guys I have been living with since second year, so hopefully the fun times shall continue.
For anyone unsure if they should go away to uni or not, do it! It may seem daunting but it is such a great experience and teaches you a lot about yourself
I’ still in college right now. It’s great! I love it. Not a lot to say because not a lot of incredible tings have happened to me there. BUt I have made a lot of cool, new friends and have taken some incredible classes.
