Hey there everybody! (Wow, that was cheesy!) I’ve got an announcement to share with the world! I’ve finally got videos on my YouTube account!!! And I’ve had it since September of 08. Sad. But now I do! To make my videos a little more popular, I’ve decided to send links to my videos on here. And they are all about the movie Cars, being that it’s my favorite movie!! I can’t get enough of that thing!

I saw it already. Not bad for your first. It was a nice way to display the Lightning and Sally pairing. I felt that some of the clips might have dragged on for too long, but other than that, pretty enjoyable to watch.
She used Windows Movie Maker, as indicated in her description. It can be a frustrating, but you can do quite a bit if you use it right.
You’ve definitely gotten a good feel for matching clips to words. Many first time videos don’t do that, but I could definitely see connections with lyrics and visuals.
As The Star Swordsman said, I would suggest you cut the clips a bit. Fast music like this calls for constant motion and shorter cuts. It’s best to exclude moments of dialog as much as possible, because they don’t move very much and tend to be dull if they go on for too long. If there’s a lot of body language going on, then dialog scenes are good. But not when the characters are just talking. It becomes boring to watch
But this was definitely an excellent start. I look forward to seeing more from you. I subscribed to your channel
Thanks for all of the comments. Man, you guys are better critics than the ones who reviewed on YouTube! I will try to take your advice TSS and Castoro Chiaro next time. But I’ve already created two other vids, so that advice doesn’t apply. I am kinda new to this, so thanks for understanding. I know that I will get better guys. It’s like writing. You get better at the skills and with what you do over time. Oh, and about all of the talking scenes, I was doing that for I was trying to make it the appearance of like he was singing to Sally. That might shed some more light onto the subject.
The link above is for my Doc fan vid. I also started to use some effects. Hopefully I didn’t overdo it. If I did, tell me!!! Also, the beginning does kinda have a long clip, but I wasn’t sure what else to do for the intro and it is a longer one. Also, the song I used was a bit more complex, so the words probably won’t match as well as with the first one.
The link above is another Lightning/Sally vid. When I was done doing the Doc one, I remembered that I had the idea to make a vid with this song. I also used a little less effects. I only used them when nessecary. I just felt this video had less of the need for the effects.
Please comment again, and remember, I made these before anyone commented on here. So your suggestions won’t exactly apply to them. But they should to the next ones, don’t worry.
I saw the words Doc fan vid, so I decided I should watch it. And I quite enjoyed it. I like the black/white & color mix and I like how it also showed a little of Lightning & Doc’s relationship.
Awesome videos! Very well done and put together. By the way, I saw that one of that little boy and his die-cast cars when Doc “Breaks In Two Ways” on You Tube and about died laughing!!! That was SO funny!!! Did he just make all those lines and saying at the moment or did you have him memorize a hilarious script!! LOL!! I watched it several times and busted out laughing every time!!! Whew! I was laughing there still!! Sorry…
Oh, thanks! Actually, we had done only one rehersal, but it was all random! None of it was written down or scripted! My neighbor is Cars comedy genious! And the die-casts are mine.
