M•O

M•O is one of my favorite characters in the film! He’s so hilariously awesome!

And don’t you love his "Whoa, whoa, whoa"s? 8D

Post your thoughts about M•O here. :bulb:

He’s way cute ^.^

[spoil]I love the way he says WALL•E’s name at the end of the movie, at the part where WALL•E remembers EVE and all the other robots come and see them[/spoil]

Definitely one of the best characters in the movie.

[spoil]The little dialog between Wall-E and M-O when Wall-E’s solar charge is depleted was very funny.[/spoil]

He’s hilarious, [spoil]especially his frequent freak outs[/spoil]!! I do believe his name is written M-O, but that doesn’t matter…

I thought M-O was a just adorable character. I love it when he starts [spoil]cleaning and scubbing.[/spoil] Those got some good laughs.

Definitely a favorite character, loved when he was scolding Wall-E and Wall-E rubbed his dirty track on M-O.

Yes! 8D How could you not love that scene?

He’s awesome![spoil] And he saved the ending of the movie. XD[/spoil]

In Cars, Guido was my favorite character, and in WALL-E [spoil]M-O was Guido’s closest analogue, in that he was a really funny and quirky secondary character. Had WALL-E himself not been so lovable, M-O would be my favorite character.[/spoil]

When I saw M-O’s toy in Toys R Us, I dismissed it the first time, but a few weeks later, I picked him up.

Sadly, he does not have the little ball-balancing joint/wheel as in the film. Plus, he’s almost as the same size as Wall-E. I may get the smaller one.

One of my favorite scenes is after M-O has finished cleaning Wall-E’s treads, and just finally stops cleaning and sits down like, ‘there, done!’

Then there’s this little exchange:

W-E: Wall-E
M-O: M-O.
W-E: …M-O?
M-O: (matter-of-factly) M-O.
W-E: …Oh.[/spoil]

loved that bit

mo is awesome okay no one can compete with mo! rawr :stuck_out_tongue:

I thought it was so funny when he lands in all the garbage and still wants to clean WALL-E after falling down a garbage shoot and getting himself dirty. All the scenes where he and WALL-E communicate are funny.

Definitely. M-O does add that almost sarcastic character in the universe. He doesn’t say much but he definitely shows it!

I do agree that the part with WALL-E putting the tread shows the curiosity of WALL-E and the need to clean from M-O! So funny!

when the movie ended i was tinking: Wait mo is on earth and it is very dirty he is probably going to try to clean earth…theres a fan fic someone wrote lol and its odd bc i was thinking the same thing!

I read it too. Good read, it was kind of Eve to do that for him

i know that was a good story!!

I really like M•O! He is so cute.

~~ JOHN•E

M-O is so kewl i like how his eyes r just squares

M-O is definitely one of my favorite characters in the film – my second favorite, in fact, right after WALL-E himself. I love how much personality was imbedded into this little box of a thing with only one, solitary bowling ball-like wheel for locomotion. His occasional bursts of outrage/annoyance were quite charming, as well.

You know, there’s a moment in the junior novelization of the film, WALL-E, that was presented differently in the production. although I dearly wish that it hadn’t been. The moment was this:

[spoil]During the scene where EVE is desperately, yet unsuccessfully, attempting to locate a spare “information chip” for WALL-E in the garbage disposal/chamber, M-O, who is also present, makes to clean the damaged robot once more, only this time… it is done as an act of friendship, his constantly-twirling obliterator mechanism now slowly caressing his companion.[/spoil]

The exact same scene took place in the film, only [spoil]M-O’s actions/disposition towards WALL-E were/was not as pronounced as it was in the book[/spoil]. It’s kind of a shame, actually…
