This is something I’ve been wondering about for a long
time, and it deals with a character from The Incredibles that most people don’t pay attention
to.

Although the lady who owned Squeaker never had a confirmed identity, doesn’t
she hold a striking resemblance to Mrs. Hogenson (aged 15 years younger, of course)? And if they are one in the
same, the fact that Bob is once again helping her out is even eerier. This leads me to believe that they really
are the same woman.
As Bernie would say, “Coincidence? I think NOT!”

Well, it’s something I also have always tought about. they do strike a very great resemblance
(- points for spelling) and like you said, Bob helping her out for a second time would be great to show how he
helps the metroville people these days, just like he did 15 years ago.
Yeah, that’s a good
explanation, Vekoma- proving that Bob continued to do good. I can believe that this was purposeful.
Tey do look similar, but I doubt they are the same person. The ears and nose on the lady with the cat is
slightly bigger. But I really don’t know.
I had thought of that, but then I took her aging into
consideration.

Even in fifteen years time, did she
grey fast!! But I DO love the idea that they are one and the same!!
It could be
possible that she was played by the same voice. But I am just guessing.
Now that is the confusing part.
I swear I can detect a British accent when the Squeaker lady speaks, but Mrs. Hogenson has no accent at all. Or
is that just me?
~~=oP
No . . . I sensed it as well, especially when she says, “Oh, she’s quite tame.”
Might not
even be british, but it DOES sound like an accent . . . .
And didn’t Ms. Hoganson loose her accent if she was the woman who caught the cat?
That thought did occur to me.
Dash told me that if they’re the same woman that she might’ve lost her accent with age…if she had
one.
~~=oP
Yeah, that’s a possibility, but I guess it just depends
on the circumstances.
Mrs. Hoganson could be
a great grandmother while the lady with the cat could be a grandma.
Vim and I looked into this once, for our
fan fic. The Trump Cards series listed Squeaker’s owner as Mrs.
Hogenson and since it works so logically as a link-up (like Vekoma said), we’ve always taken that to be
canon.
Aaah! Well, there you go then.

If she is the same person, don’t you think Bob could’ve recognized her?

It was 15
years man, and it wasn’t like they were best friends who called each other or even kept in touch. To him she
was probably just “another citizen to save” Just like when you work a 9-5, you see thousands of
different people erry day. I doubt rememebering just one especially 15 years later. It was just another customer.

You’re right. Besides, Mr.
Incredible has saved thousand of lives. What are the chances that he will remember her?
