Yeah, you read the title of this thread right. Apparently, Jon Favreau is working on a Magic Kingdom movie, which will involve a family caught in Disneyland, bringing all of the attractions to life. Hmmm… Where have I heard this before? Oh, yeah! NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM. Seriously, I don’t know how I fell about this, I mean, it could be good, but I don’t really know anything about this Favreau guy, so…
Anyway, here’s the link to one of many articles on the movie: http://screenrant.com/jon-favreau-magic-kingdom-movie-pauly-90983/
Hey, my friend was reading a book about that! Disney’s released books, I guess they’re now making a movie.
I’m not really keen on this idea, as mentioned above, it is too similar to Night at the Museum.
Do you know if your friend was reading “The Kingdom Keepers”? Because it’s the same general idea.
I’m not dreading this at all. And since it seems like most of you don’t know who he is, Mr. Favreau has helmed Elf, Iron Man, Iron Man 2, and this summer’s Cowboys and Aliens. He even gave up Iron Man 3 for this, and in a recent interview, he seemed really passionate for the Disney parks and imagineers and such. I’m sure that he’ll do a wonderful job . And is it just me, or was Night at the Museum not that great in the first place?
Yes, that’s it!
I love those books. I got the third one when it came out last year, haven’t read any of it since April, and I’m not even a quarter of the way done with it. I might start back on it though, because the fourth one comes out in April, and apparently, Frollo from The Hunchback Of Notre Dame (which I have never seen, and don’t plan to) will be in it.

That sounds really interesting, I actually wanted to read it. I’ll need to check it out.

Uh… not to be rude, but how is this rellevant again?
I’m not sure what to think about that. It does sound like its been done before, in various degrees, in other movies. It has the potential to be kinda silly, and I’m not sure what kind of plot could be derived from that other than getting the Magic Kingdom to stop being ‘alive’. And since various attractions already became movies, I wonder how that would affect it, if at all.
That sounds a little iffy…
I’ve heard about movies based on attractions, but one based on all of them? Lol
