Making of Toy Story

When I found this video, I almost stopped watching because I thought it was just an inferior clone to the making-of video on the Special Edition VHS, just with Spanish overdubs. Well, it starts out the same way, and even has many identical scenes, but this actually has many ideas that were never seen before. Such as the original video game opening (actually, a TV show, but the Super Nintendo is still shown), with the first look at Zurg!
You’ll notice that Buzz line from Toy Story 2’s sequence first appears here, “not today, Zurg!” before using his wings to cut through the rope trapping him. Anyone catch the reference to the end of Toy Story there? I personally think it works very well in making Buzz come full circle with the him accepting that he’s a toy. It ends with the him shouting his famous “to infinity, and beyond!,” which in the end was said by Woody. It also bares resemblance to the way Woody’s Roundup was presented.

Also a couple unused lines:

“What if Andy get’s another dinosaur? A mean one? I’ll get replaced! I just don’t think I can take that kind of rejection!”

“I’m sure there’s not another piggy bank, I mean, what are the odds?”

“Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey! Nobody’s getting replaced!”

Annie Potts also had some more lines after her Buzz speech, but the stupid overdubs cut it out.

Finally, a possibly extended scene from Sid’s room.
